Here at the Tea Party Express we strive to hold politicians accountable. That means all politicians, both Democrat AND Republican. It wasn't just one party that got us in this mess and it will take leaders that are willing to hold both sides accountable to get us out. stayed away from, however, was his military service in the U.S. Marine
Corps.

Inspired by a strong sense of duty to country,
Mandel enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves in 2000, where he graduated
first in his class from Marine Corps Boot Camp and first in his class from
Marine Corps Intelligence School. His Marine Corps career spanned eight years,
including two tours in Anbar Province, Iraq. During both tours he was awarded
the Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal for "superior performance of his
duties."

This race is summed up very well in Josh's own words on the problems in Washington and the

There isn’t a clearer contrast in a Senate race in America than the Mandel vs. Brown race in Ohio.

...before the Republican convention, Democrat Sherrod Brown held a narrow 43.6% to 41.4% lead over Republican Josh Mandel. Again, although within the margin of error, the postconvention poll gives Republican Mandel the advantage at 44.3% to 43.5%, representing a 3 point bump for Mandel, while Brown’s take staying basically constant. Both polls continue to indicate that the undecided voters will decide the outcome of the election.
