Shoot the gulls. All they are is filthy white pigeons.
I recall some naturalist studying endangered penguins in Antarctica was trying to figure out how to save the baby penguins from the skua gulls who’d eat them. He left for a year and returned to the place on his own and after he was there by himself he unpacked a .22 and several thousand rounds of ammunition and annihilated the skua population.
And now the penguins are doing just fine.

Sea Story! We were coming back from doing oceanographic research in the North Atlantic, and this male Sperm Whale must of thought we we hot! We we doing “going home” turns at the time and he came along side and tried to show us some affection. We just kept going and he broke off and went to get a breath of air. About 30 minutes later he was back! Those whales are fast! My sonar men swore it was the same one from his “voice”.
