I would LOVE it to be Sarah Palin, but there is one other person that I would really LOVE to see there. Wasn’t it Bill Clinton who said, “Screw me once, shame on you. Screw me twice, shame on me.”? This would be the perfect opportunity for the Clintons to settle an old score.
The Stig.
He is one of the few celebrities (besides Palin or Cheney) that could really generate added excitement. We don't have Jimmy Stewart or John Wayne.
Eastwood would also get even for doing that Chrysler ad that made him look like he was pulling for Obama.
Howard Stern.
If the clowns in charge of the convention have anything to do with it, it’ll be some boring old RINO has-been who nobody will pay attention to.
It will be Sarah.
Dinesh D’Souza?
I’m thinking Rush Limbaugh.
He’s not that far away, on the east coast of FL.
She was treated rather shabbily by the Obamas, especially by the First Wookie - after all the support she gave to get BO elected, under the bus she was thrown.
I posted on a prior thread my opinion that it might be a religious/evangelical leader. I don’t know if Billy Graham is able physically, and he may actually have reservations about Romney’s faith, but if he were to speak it would be awesome. Or Franklin Graham, or David Barton.
Jimmy Carter? “See,I’m not the worst President”
If Romney has Sarah he indeed will hit not just a home run, but a Grand Slam, and my enthusiasm will return.....
Truett or Dan Cathey (Chick fil-A)?
I’ll be clam-happy with either Alan West or Sarah Palin!
Surprise speaker?
I know:
Dave Mustaine, lead singer/guitar player of metal band Megadeth, who has been outspoken against O-bum-o.
Lyrics from “Peace Sells But Whose Buying” :
“What do you mean I don’t pay my bills?
Why do you think I’m broke? Huh?”
And....
“If there’s a new way, I’ll be the first in line”

If it’s anyone but Sarah, it will be a disappointment. This is the first election year I haven’t watched the Republican Convention, and don’t plan on it. Only Sarah could compel me to watch.
