WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Federal court ruled on Tuesday that a controversial Texas voter identification law discriminates against black and Hispanic voters, effectively killing the law before it could take effect for the November 6 presidential election.

The voters wanted a majority GOP legislature in TEXAS. We get one so we get to draw the lines. BUT NOOOO we have that insidious Voting Rights Act that will eventually turn this state blue and in control of Mexico. The RATS know if Texas goes blue it is clear sailing for them.

Then how do we explain Arizona? Arizona is not a southern state, yet this very day, Holder sent his injustice department minions to the Grand Canyon State in order to monitor Arizona’s primary election. As for Texas, I wish Rick Perry would thumb his nose at the hack federal judge and say in a public venue, in front of the cameras, “Go to hell....were are going to ask EVERYONE to show an ID at the polls this November, black, white, hispanic, EVERY race, color and creed. And if the feds don’t like it, tough crap.”
Reuters was apparently reporting a fake but accurate conclusion.
There’s always somebody who wants to change the text ~ but that’s not the issue here. It’s simply political by a political judge. This is one of the reasons we have to reduce the size of the federal judiciary. Starve the beast of the bodies it needs to dig into every little matter.

You are right, and in the heavily illegal areas, we should geta few folks to hang around the polling places with Border Patrol caps on. I guess the dimocraps would say we are not allowing illegals to legally vote. Or would they call non-voter intimidation. It is time for war.
When I vote here in East Texas, Mrs Pat always makes me show my photo ID. We were in the same Sunday School class. She knew my parents and grandparents. I still had to go back out to the car and get my license.
As a lifelong resident of Texas, I have always had to present a photo ID (drivers’ license) in order to vote. The very thought that Mexican and other illegals will be able to vote this election without having to provide the same proof I’ve always had to provide makes me madder than I’ve ever been. Maybe it IS time to face the reality that we’re not going to win this thing peacefully.

If anyone on the right were to say that there are some minorities that don’t have the sense it takes to figure out how to get a valid ID, they’d be accused of being racist, mean-spirited, etc...
But as soon as someone mentions “Voter ID” the left cries, “You’re just trying to supress the minority vote because you know that some minorities don’t have the wherewithall it takes to figure out how to get an ID.”

Now who was the judge and why seeing as the media cannot do their job why did the Feds feel tey had to sue.
Now this ruling is saying it discriminates, so therefore Amtrack , getting booze, cigs, medicare, SS etc discriminates
Also the judges should have asked themselves how does this do this when it is easy to get photo ID but they did not ask this and the only conclusion is that the court did not have any thought to law, common sense or even the constitution , this was activism.
Some say they will not vote this election, well don’t and we get mroe of this crap plus we’ll be getting milions of illegals on the roles to vote, well done to those who will not vote ARF

One really has to wonder at what point Reconstruction will be finished - its only been 147 years since the end of the War of Northern Aggression ended, yet somehow a mere law passed by Congress and signed by a President allow for an entire region of the country to be treated as little better than a colony in terms of self-rule.
I'd like someone to remind me why it is, exactly, that the entire South should remain part of the US? Redistricting is not the same as a voter ID law. The voter ID is intact.
