Just keep beating the dead horse "conservatives/ gop-e". You are well on your way to splitting your voter base in MO and handing Obama the election.

Get your head out of your butts. Shooting at your own side every day does NOTHING to win elections.

I hope that Karl Rove, David Gergen, Colin Powell and Ed Rollins have a Special place in the lake of fire reserved for them.

Someone on Akin’s team (if he still has a team) should put this Rove clip on YouTube and email the link to their lists. Rove is WAY more hated than Akin is.

Karl Rove is an establishment Republican. They want Akin to step aside so that they can put one of their own in his place. Have you noticed it's the anti-conservative Republican that keep talking about it. At least Akin didn't say that Guam might tip over from to many troops stationed there.

Karl Rove should shut the hell up on this. they are determined to force him out.

Akin said somethign stupid, OK- get over it. None of us are perfect.

But his opponent is a baby-murder supporting, Obama ass-kissing liberal who will NOT repeal Obamacare, GOT IT???

Pick one.

My guess is that Rove is way off on this, unless he actually starts doing ads for McCaskill. Which could happen.

I know it is true and you know it is true, but posting ANYTHING from Karl Rove (let alone an Akin piece) on this site will bring you hostile fire.

Thanks for posting.

Rove is exactly right. Inadvertant as it may be, Akin handed that once-winnable contest to McCaskill with that fateful comment... and he`s hurting the national ticket, IMO.

But, hey.. we must move on... Akin has amassed almost $100K (vs McCaskill`s multi-million$), and he`s picking up broad support (among democrats). Plus, he`s dead set on winning (2nd place).

I am willing to make this agreement with the Akin supporters on this site:

If Akin pulls this out I will be willing to write a mea culpa vanity on this site. You can write to me and tell me what I need to include in that post.

If Akin loses I want to see EACH Akin supporter write their own mea culpa which would include the admission that not all people who want him to drop out are ESTABLISHMENT types. That some of us WERE GENUINELY OFFENDED by what he said and are bonafide conservatives too.

If Romney loses Missouri because of this I want those same supporters to admit that they put ego ahead of reality, which is what they do if they decide not to vote for Romney because of this.

Karl Rove on Monday predicted Rep. Todd Akin will lose by the widest margin of any Republican candidate in modern history if he remains in his Missouri Senate race against Sen. Claire McCaskill.

Todd, please do AMERICANS a favor and drop out. Sarah Steelman (Sarah Palin's pick) would be great!

The founder of Free Republic, Jim Robinson, supports Akin. We should too.

This is what Jim said at http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2922134/posts?page=157#157

“My take is the baby is innocent. Always is. Akin is pro life. If he’s the candidate, I support him.”

I`d be very surprised if Akin pulls in more support in Nov. than Alvin Greene did vs. Jim DeMint in 2010.

AGAIN:

...would this mean that the people of Mo do not care what happens to the freedom of the United States?

For crying out loud!...then all that is required for a "historic loss" of a Republican is that they are lured,(or by a lapse in judgement) into saying something stupid. Aiken made a quick and sincere apology for the error, but evidently that amounts to nothing, and that the U.S. is to be punished with the reelection of Ma McCaskill? Even what Aiken said is, as far as I can tell is a Republican pro-life stance.

If the people of Mo go ahead and re-elect Ms McCaskill because of a dumbass statement, then I think we are truly lost.

Must I find the nearest welfare office and sign up....just because voters think that stupid statments trump freedom and liberty?

One other thing: Rove predictions are NOT set in stone. They are predictions, no more, no less...and are rendered from an "establishment Republican" perspective. He actually has no more of an idea who will win in Mo as I have.

“What he said was indefensible

Well I guess the same goes for the GOP platform, doesn't it???

and the way he handled it made it worse,” Rove told POLITICO

And what could that have been -- refusing your demand to step aside for one of your own lackeys???

If Akin wins, then it shows that the old white board weasel is wrong and there goes his job. He’s just trying to make sure his “observations” come true.

Karl Rove on Monday predicted Rep. Todd Akin will lose by the widest margin of any Republican candidate in modern history if he remains in his Missouri Senate race against Sen. Claire McCaskill.

And this coming from the guy who is withholding funding for anti-McCaskill commercials that he promised to the winner of the Republican primary.

Right now her Leftwaffe controls the airwaves in the battle for Missouri.

Thanks Karl.
