Stick to the economy Todd.
There’s a nice Hilton Garden Inn in Chesterfield that will just perfect for the concession speech and crying fest that’s sure to follow this campaign. It’s not very big, but I doubt that many are going to show up for this wake.
From the Washington post. They’re always for the conservatives.
They haven’t even started running the ads yet. Those will commence on September 26th. Right now they are doing all they can to keep Akin floating, with hopes he doesn’t give up.
The Washington post will do their best to help the Democrats. Ignore them and get to work. We hold the high ground and they’re scared. It’s going to come down to whether we have the guts to hold the high ground.
I still say something stinks here. They want to keep the Senate. Are there other Senate members who will be tossed out?
Not surprising, we’ve ripped defeat out from the jaws of victory often the last few years. Angle in Nevada, O’Donnell in Connecticut, Akin in Missouri. It’s silly, but we do it all the time. We could have thrown a mushroom against Reid and won, but of course we didn’t. Frustrating to say the least.
The liberals continue to do the smack. This is not helping conservatives to unite; their goal.
Washington compost would love to see him step down. Unreal,
to see the amount of hatred/name calling for this guy.
Claire “Death Panel/DeathCare voter” McCaskill?
I really hope this stupid toad in human form drops out and lets an unsullied candidate with more intelligence run in his place.
This bloated toad is ruining our chances to recover the Senate and even threatening Romney’s prospects in Missouri.
The fact that that other bloated Toad, Huckabee, the man who helped get McCain nominated in 2008, is defending this jerk Akin should speak volumes about Akin unsuitability.
Sure, he should have just stopped while he was ahead, and never even mentioned the issue, but he did. Now folks in MO can either let it go and vote for him, anyway, or let Claire McCaskill return to the Senate, voting like Obama every time she casts a vote.
So McCaskill has lost a point?
I find a lot of the coverage about the falling support for Akin...well, dubious. Yes, people I talk to think he a dumb-a$$. Not a single one has said that theyed pull the lever for McCaskill, or sit out the election, though.
Anecdotal, for sure; still, there it is.
Just cannot stop beating this dead horse can you?
