As a long-time advocate for animal rights, Natalie Portman is no stranger to political causes.
But it was her interest in women's rights that drew her to Nevada tonight, to rally support for President Obama's re-election campaign.
The Black Swan actress stepped up to the podium to address the America-Nevada Women Vote 2012 Summit, the first rally in what is being billed as the 'Romney-Ryan Wrong for Women' Tour.

It is absolutely amazing that any American Jew who is sane would cast a vote for Obama!!! But....then again...thousands thought Htiler/Himmler were OK...and would never really harm them. Yep. I think Portman is a talented actress. I love her earlier work. With this, now I won’t be able to watch her in a movie and enjoy it. She just ruined it for me, like so many other activist Hollywood actors. No more Portman movies for me going forward.
Why can’t they just STFU like Gregory Peck, Henry Fonda and Kirk Douglas. Just STFU about vocal activism, practice your craft, and when you are a rich has-been, then you can run for politics for all I care. But when you alienate your conservative audience, then the hell with you.

As you can see, if we lived under Sharia law, well, both the Secretary of State and I would have "honor killings" in our futures! Yeah, pretty scary, huh? Not really. If I thought that way I'd be an `Islamaphobe' which is the worst thing in the world, next to being a `homophobe.' That reminds me. I guess my choreographer would be dead meat, too, under Sharia law as well. But oh well. Dear, Obama had total control the first two years of his presidency. Do pay a little attention and do some research on these matters if you’re going to speak publicly on them.
