Former Gov. Charlie Crist: Here's why I'm backing Barack Obama

Ive studied, admired and gotten to know a lot of leaders in my life. Across Florida, in Washington and around the country, I've watched the failure of those who favor extreme rhetoric over sensible compromise, and I've seen how those who never lose sight of solutions sow the greatest successes.

As America prepares to pick our president for the next four years and as Florida prepares once again to play a decisive role I'm confident that President Barack Obama is the right leader for our state and the nation. I applaud and share his vision of a future built by a strong and confident middle class in an economy that gives us the opportunity to reap prosperity through hard work and personal responsibility. It is a vision of the future proven right by our history.

While I doubt Charlie wrote that column, I don’t doubt that he signed his name to it in the back of a Tampa “bath house”.

The only difference between Crist and Romney is the fake orange suntan.
I could easily see the KOLOBIAN supporting Hussein Obama if he wasn't running against him, they are two sides of the same coin.
Degenerate con men like Romney and Crist sure do get a lot of votes just by calling themselves Republicans though.

    Endorsements from SOMEBODIES mean NOTHING.
Endorsements from NOBODIES like Crist mean LESS.

Hard work and personal responsibility? What is this guy smoking? The occupier of the WH never takes personal responsibility for anything - and this doofus thinks this is one of the virtues of obama’s position? Unreal!!!

I notice at the end of the article, Crist is no longer a Republican, but rather, has no affiliation.
Does that mean even the Democrats don't want him?

To: Rome2000
No. The difference between Romney and First is the former defeated his primary opponents and the latter lost. That Romney, part of liberal wing in the party, won is a reflection of the other candidates' failures. Conservatives count about 60% of the party members. Since none of the conservative candidate was able to persuade conservative primary voters to vote for him/her instead of for the other guy, Romney won. Crist didn't have that luxury since conservative wing in FL was behind Rubio.
