...... Soon, tens of thousands of Republicans will descend upon Tampa Bay, but this area's Democrats say they aren't going anywhere. Their schedules are packed: protests, rallies, vigils, press conferences, a visit from the vice president and even a secret-but-not-so-secret "counter-convention."
"We don't want to ruin the convention for delegates," said Ella Coffee of the Hillsborough County Democratic Party, which opened its Tampa campaign office Thursday night. "We just want to be able to have a conversation."
Preparation for that conversation starts today with a protest training session in Tampa. The Code Pink-organized gathering, which many area Democrats are expected to attend, will teach people how to demonstrate without violence, talk to reporters and use social media. Attendees also will practice songs, chants and dance moves.
The education will prepare Democrats for daily protests that begin today in St. Petersburg and a march Sunday during the convention's kickoff party at Tropicana Field. Hillsborough Democrats also have promoted a bevy of events for the week, including a "celebration of resistance" on Monday night, a rally against voter suppression on Tuesday evening, and, on two days, the alliteratively named "Rally Against Romney."

Vice President Joe Biden had planned to visit Tampa on Monday to counter the GOP message. He postponed the trip Friday to ensure that all local law enforcement and emergency management resources can stay focused on Tropical Storm Isaac.
.......Chris Radulich, a 64-year-old from Apollo Beach who says he likes the heat, planned to attend at least one rally or march every day of the convention.
Why?
"The primary thing is, first of all," he paused to consider the question, "to prove there are Democrats in Florida."

As you can see, the same folks [Code Pink] who disrupted an earlier democrat convention are hired by Democrats to disrupt a republican convention this coming week. This is Liberal logic.

Recall that Code Pink is the group which provided funding for the al Qaeda insurgency in Fallujah, Iraq, and had arranged for a Democrat to deliver it.

That worked out really well when Code Pink and their gun-toting fellow "demonstrators", the Turkish terror group IHH, attacked Israelis that were coming aboard to inspect their boat for arms, when the IHH and Code Pink were trying to run the naval blockade of Gaza.
Is conversation code word for riot?
It is particularly telling just which group- Code Pink- the Democrats have chosen to "instruct" them in "nonviolent" protesting, and who the Code Pink folks are allied with :

Organizers say 5,000-person march set for RNC first day - respect “diversity of tactics” ……..”Asked whether the march will try to prevent anyone from, for example, breaking windows or throwing rocks, march leader Jared Hamil said, “If they break the law, well, it’s the law. Whatever the law says.”
But Hamil declined to criticize groups that might not follow organizers’ plans for a peaceful march with a permit from the city.
“I’m not here to say that anything is a problem,” he said. That’s because the coalition has adopted a brief set of guidelines, “The Tampa Bay Principles,” that emphasize respect “for the diversity of tactics” and a commitment to keeping criticisms of other activists internal to the movement.”……

I do know Democrat officials have in the past and no doubt will continue to help them by providing credentials and passes to events that enable them to disrupt said events.

Prepare now. The democrats will take election fraud to a new level and then ask to the courts to endorse it all. Mark my words. It is the plan. Why else would they have hundreds of Progressive attorneys waiting in the wings?
The out-of-town protesters have no idea what they may be in for. If the power goes off in Tampa, misery will quickly descend on the unprepared. Curfew will probably be imposed, dusk to dawn. Police have wide latitude during & after a storm to insure public safety. Stressed & exhausted, they will deal harshly with any perceived violence. The storm puts people in a bad mood. Protesters will get little sympathy from locals.
There will be NO restaurants to eat in, no open stores to buy food, & a stifling, pitch dark motel room to sleep in.
Obama may have to send the National Guard to evacuate the desperate protesters. That is, those that are not in jail.
These fools may be walking into the perfect storm of bad weather, unhappy locals, & a city under emergency powers; & they don't have a clue.
Oh brother. They proved that there are democrats in Florida when they helped the 4 years of heck we are going through. They proved that there are Democrats in Florida in 2000 when they almost won the election. We know that there are Democrats in Florida but hopefully the Republicans can smarten up and make Florida Red again.
You pretty well summed it up. We know how to handle these storms and don’t have time for stupidity nor do the local LEO’s!
