I just want to know why you chose to join FR last month.

Why not? Why did you choose to join FR? Personally I hadn't even heard of Akin until the past week and if not for his stupid comments that all of the sudden have transformed this race across the nation(my local candidates in AZ are being now asked about "legitimate rape" and magic womanly body fuctions that prevent pregnancy) I still wouldn't have, at this point this guy just needs to go, for the good of his party and his country alike.
McCaskill backed Akin for a reason, I'm choosing not support the guy that Democrat's ARE supporting and have supported with a substantial financial investment.

PhxTM06 did conservatives a service today. He posted the pertinent MO election statutes. While not especially complex, the variables involved mean that as a practical matter, Akin will be on the November ballot.

It's election year: their are going to be a lot of new faces.
PhxTM06 is just venting the frustration that anyone who cares for this country feels seeing stupid, hick, b*stards like Akin, King and Huckabee killing the momentum of the Romney/Ryan ticket and breathing life into the "war on women" bull.
Ordinarily fiscal conservatives can write off the antics of these clowns with "bless his heart" condescension.
But these aren't ordinary times. The republic is at stake and we can't afford this cr*p.
