Key West(key weird as its known down here)is about 50/50 gay straight.
THey co-exist but thats more of a Keys style of living. It is a different world down here. You have to experience it for 40 years as I have.
We have a pretty strong GOP down here. Its different from other counties but we raise significant dough for our candidates and support them all the way.

In Key West its more of a high rent situtiation than anything else.
To get enough room for a Chic-fil-A in Key West you are looking at about $500-$600 a day in rent. Waaay too much.Aside fromthe fact that there are already 300 restaurants for a permanent population of just over 30k.
Yeah its headed right for out house. But unless it becomes a strong 2 or 3 I am really not expecting too much.I depend on the Navy for tracking and its usually pretty good.
I was in Key West about 3 years ago. I might go back to visit. If I’m not mistaken the keys are part of Monroe County and not Dade, correct?
