Rasmussen will be releasing a poll this morning showing Akin costing us dearly in Missouri: McCaskill 48% Akin 38%.
Time to pack it up and stop screwing us, big guy.
There is real irony in your position. You, as are most of us, are solidly pro-life. In your heart you think Akin can still win, but if you have a logical brain you know he cannot. There are other pro-life Republicans who could take his place and win. So the irony is that our side has pro-life candidates who could get rid of pro-abortion McCaskill, but you stubbornly dig in your heels for the only pro-life candidate who cannot win. So the pro-abort stays in office. And more innocent babies die, which is the very thing you oppose. For some reason, you cannot seem to understand or accept what is true.
You may think it is unfair, but some here may make the conclusion that you are working for McCasKILL. Can you blame them?
Well.
Both.
Rassmussen stands out for not having skewed weighting, and its state by state Obama/Romney polls have generally been much more favorable to Romney than others.
Careful about who you are calling the fools. Fools are people who accept the Dembat-OBot false narrative. Like RINOs who run the R party.
heres nothing worth defending about Akin, he made a horrible unforced error, basically sounding like a backwards hick from the 15th century, it was absolutely ridiculous and the Republicans acted appropriately, politically
You are obtuse and full of nonsense exaggerations and hubris. Akin using a wrong word and really meaning to say "forcible" doesn't put us anywhere near the 15th century.
You should run for office, so we can all laugh at your gaffe making per second.
And that would be great. Your gaffing would eclipse Joe Biden's foot-in-mouth world records. The supreme gaffe master. LoL.
A gaffe is the first part of his statement, which is excusable and explainable. The second part is what worries me. He didn’t redact that.
The damage caused by Akin is done. The damage could have been contained if he had dropped out immediately, but now the Democrats are running ads featuring him and claiming Ryan shares his position (liars). The Rats plan to run with this from now until November.
Republicans need to go on offense on this and quit playing defense. Time to start Obama’s opposition to the BAIPA and support for live birth abortion back in their face.
Big deal, as I said ask 10 strangers and you will see I am correct.
I did this yeaterday when I went to the food store. At the checkout I sked the bagger and the register women if they ever heard of someone called Todd Akin, answer no. I asked my barber, answer no, I also asked my neighbor who owns his own business, answer no.....
.....Trust me I knw about these things.”

Hey ‘beenaround’, have you been around Joe Biden much? Joe typically makes up all kinds of BS as anecdotal evidence for use in his speeches to advance whatever BS cause he’s trying to advance.
So I think you do “know about these things”. But as far as your request to “trust me”....ahh, no thanks, I’m not going to “trust” you. I suspect you’ll find only a small subset of folks here who can be influenced by your attempts at manipulation.
Thanks for the anecdote. I did not know about it. It is a perfect example. If you missed it, you may find this interesting =

I do not manipulate anyone, speak only the truth and have never told a lie or exaggerated in my life.
I swear on my Captain Video Decoder Ring.
he had lots of help from Willard and his GOP-e goons...
"Willard and his GOP-e goons" want Akin to drop out. Akin is standing up to the people you hate so vehemently, I'm surprised you aren't supporting him.
Name recognition.
Stick a fork in Akin, he’s done
After this — it wouldn’t be a problem.
We should be sending Scott Rasmussen a thank you note for taking this poll in such a timely fashion.
isn’t it too late to make him leave without a court order?
It's actually even more (and worse) than this. By using the "wrong" word "legitimate" at the beginning of the statement, there now exists an inference that women who DO get pregnant as a result of being raped are either a) lying b) enjoyed it or c) somehow wanted/deserved it.
Any point being made about not aborting an innocent life that results from rape is totally lost in the rest of Akin's ignorance and idiocy.
As I conservative I firmly believe in personal responsibility... A concept that seems to escape Akin and his national supporters.
Since this now is a 'religious' mission for Akin and his national supporters, do some homework... Actually I had Moses in mind when God sent one on a mission. Especially since 'abortion' has become a matter of so called settled 'law'! God sent Aaron along to do the talking. Now you just might be on to something by tossing in Saul. Lot was 'saved' because of Abraham. Lot was not smart enough on his own to leave Sodom. (Yes, I readily admit I went Bible shorthand, in the event somebody decides to give the full Scripture.)
I have repeatedly stated if I have NO other choice I will vote for Akin. IF he looses this election because of his incompetence his political career is done. Rightly or wrongly the only people he will be a martyr to are a few national supporters.
