Thanks for the clarification.

Because the book has not been published/released, I have my own thoughts.

I think the SEAL will be providing a different perspective as to the mission and how it went down. I think it instructive when the author talks about the number of times they were stood up with a “go” order and then told to stand down. . .political in-fighting in the administration, for sure.

I think no new classified is leaked, or EEFI compromised.

I think embarrassment of the administration is certainly a given when it is revealed as indecisive, incompetent and downright gutless. . .then leaking the info. . .that is the most important part, the book will likely point out how the guys on the line were appalled at the leaks and the risk they were now facing because of partisan hacks trying to score points.

Cheers.

It may just be the way my mind works, but IMHO, if the Obama administration had (real) issues with the book, and thought it stood to embarrass them, they'd pull out all the stops to keep it from being published, including threatening prosecution.

The administration doth protest too much in this case; lots of bluster but no action, which leads me to think it's probably going to be flattering or at least neutral to the administration, or be a nice companion piece to the upcoming movie.

Frankly, I truly hope I'm wrong on this.
