Mark Levin is clearly not happy with Akins decision, saying that he put himself over that of the country at a time when we are trying to win the Senate with the country at stake. And how we have to try and win the Senate with a weaker, wounded candidate who did it to himself.
But at the end of the day Levin says we still have to fight to beat McCaskill and if its with Akin, then so be it we must support him.

Levin interviewing Priebus was about 45 minutes into his third hour on his radio show.
Akin and Huckabee -
As innocent as serpents, as cunning as doves
(Sigh...)
I gave Levin too much credit, by posting before listening to the clip.
He’s not a bit concerned with what the Declaration says about the right to life.
Not without the Democrats who backed him early on.
No, has nothing to do with the sperm, has to do with chemical reactions in the body when a body is being harmed.
This is the exact sort of ignorance that Akin was preaching. There’s no magic “chemical reaction”, if a woman is ovulating and she gets raped, if the rapist ejaculates inside her and the sperm reaches the egg, boom, you have pregnancy just as you would at any other time.
Nothing ultra-mysterious or complicated about it.
Levin lost me long ago when he starting attacking Birthers/Obama Eligibility people. Not really surprised that he has joined the other Pro-Aborts in attacking Akin
And, lets get real...the real reason Akin is being pushed out is that he is unabashedly pro-life...and we are now learning a lot of talk-radio is not
I asked that within hours of his macca moment
No.
what are rambling on about.
levin is right.
this stooge is a classless , power hungry nut.
This entire episode has jaded me. From Obama to Levin to Cornyn to Romney to Gateway Pundit to (apparently) most FR posters: My verdict is BBs for balls — chickensh$t turncoats.
We whine day and night for elected officials who will vote their principles. Well Akin is one whose actual Congressional voting record is IMPECCABLY pro-life, and.... how loyal are we?
Well, he utters one stupid sound-bite — not maliciously, not angrily, simply stupidly — and we throw this loyal pro-lifer under the bus.
The hysterical, whining, hand-wringing I have heard and read is risible — Romney may LOSE! The Dems may keep the Senate! and so on.
I have news for you: Romney may lose and the Dems may keep the Senate regardless because the Pubs and so-called “conservatives” have shown that they dance to the Liberal media tune like good marionettes!
Anyone besides me notice that “conservative” Senator John Cornyn, head of the NRSC jumped onto the anti-Akin bandwagon shortly after Liberal Mass RINO Sen Scott Brown denounced Akin?
I am sick of Cornyn’s portraying himself as a conservative. Look at the track record of the NRSC under his tenure.
Mr Cornyn: You need to be primaried, Mr inside-the-beltway, chicksh&t, faux conservative. May another Ted Cruz rise up to take your place.
If the NRSC calls me for money, I will say “no thanks; I am giving directly to Mr Akin!”
My prediction — and my prayer: Akin wins in November.
Deo Volonte!
Larry Kudlow said that the GOP could run a well-known candidate as an indepedent and win the race the way Joe Lieberman won in Connecticut. His guest, Jennifer Rubin, I think said that the actual final date for changing the line-up for the election is Sept. 21, not Aug. 21. She thinks after the funding dries up, Akin might wake up and realize he can’t win.
Wrong. Stress alone can terminate a pregnancy. The woman's body is a hormonal engine with an emotional "electronic ignition". Emotions alone can affect all sorts of chemical changes in a woman's body. Life is very delicate...
Yes, Let us obey are Liberal masters and dump Akin. Some of you don’t have a testicle between you. God help us!
Take a look at this article. What Akin said isn’t unheard of. Do those who detract from Dr. Wilke really sound like they’ve really looked into the matter? They sound like they are just dismissing it out of hand, like most GOP Media outlets. Rush Limbaugh even thinks he is a sociologist and opines that the reason Akin said what he said is because to talks to a lot of like minded people. In other words, he doesn’t get out much.
Yes, Let us obey our Liberal masters and dump Akin. Some of you don’t have a testicle between you. God help us!
