Mark Levin is clearly not happy with Akins decision, saying that he put himself over that of the country at a time when we are trying to win the Senate with the country at stake. And how we have to try and win the Senate with a weaker, wounded candidate who did it to himself.
But at the end of the day Levin says we still have to fight to beat McCaskill and if its with Akin, then so be it we must support him.

Sounds like he has it about right once again.
“....he put himself over that of the country at a time when we are trying to win the Senate with the country at stake.”
.
Duh. Can anyone think of ONE congresscritter who would put the country ahead of his own interests?
Levin, as usual, is on the money.
I predict a 50 point loss if Akin stays on the ballot.
its time we just go behind a write in candidate and support that person and put pub support money and endorsements behind the candidate, (Palin’s pick, of course) and ignore akin completely.
show some unity and balls.
push the point that akin was selected by the rat incumbent and spent money to insure his candidacy.
pubs need to get a grip on how to handle it.

Levin is now giving Priebus the business about supporting Akin since he is staying in. Telling the RNC Chairman you don’t concede that Missouri Senate seat.
I listen to Levin all the time, but on this one, he has drank the hand-wringer’s Kool-Aid. It’s hilarious to hear him yelling and screaming about Akin, and in the same breath saying he’d vote for him and he supports him. And I love how every Republican media media member is an expert on female physiology, and know exactly what is and what isn’t.
Isn’t it obvious that Akin is a plant?
I heard the first five minutes . . . had picked up my 15 yr. old DS and he always wants to change the radio station and today he said I really shouldn’t hear that (I think there was a cuss word or two) and said NOPE I wanna every second as I’m very angry too. And then tried to explain how Akin was only thinking of himself and not the country.
Levin knows the Constitution, no doubt about that. His mistake is in placing it above the Declaration, which argues that the duty of any form of government is to secure the right to life.
The Constitution, then, is merely a means to an end. Levin here is revering the means at the expense of the end.
Aiken is a strong candidate will win this race by a mile and will be a strong advocate for Life and the face of the Pro Life Movement in Washington.
Levin has now told the RNC to better support Akin in his Senate bid.
Mark won't go so far as to suggest dumping candidates who play games with primary election rules though.
Wouldn't be prudent.
Still, great to hear he's come over to MY SIDE in this debate. When the primary results interfere with proper accounting for party coalition factions, you have to ignore them. This guy was a bad actor from the start. We have others.
100% correct.
“And I love how every Republican media media member is an expert on female physiology, and know exactly what is and what isnt”
So Akin is? Other people are disagreeing with what Akin said because they’re not stupid, and its been pointed out ad nauseum just how wrong he was. He made about as dumb a statement as he possibly could have when he stated that “women’s bodies can shut the whole thing down” in reference to pregnancy as if rapist’s sperm is any different from regular sperm.
really? i will have to look that up. thanks,
blessings, bobo
Mark is right on in that we must help Akin win the Senate. See Free Republic comments by Rebecca Kiessling for a thoughtful and convincing discussion about Akin's unfortunate choice of words, and, perhaps, put the controversy into perspective. The arguments on both sides of the aisle are shallow and emotional.

Support him? Like, make excuses for him? Or explain what he meant? Or site the Chinamouse theory? Not from these lips.
Actually, Akin is right. Though he has apologised for his statement, statistics bear his assertion out. You have to pick your arguments and what you base your decisions on...
