Americans Continue to Give Obama Low Marks on the Economy

Low rating on the economy may be more problematic than even lower deficit rating

PRINCETON, NJ -- Three months before the election, President Barack Obama gets good marks from Americans for his handling of terrorism, fair marks for education and foreign affairs, but poor marks on immigration and three big economic issues: the federal budget deficit, creating jobs, and the economy generally.

Think of it in terms of the Constitution and our law.

Yeah, how about you do that?

What other crimes allow one to kill someone else, for vengeance?

. And given the extreme emotional damage done to a woman forced to carry a baby who was created through an act of violent violation (and the possible health consequences) she has, IMO, as much right to take that life to defend her own health and well-being as a homeowner has in killing an intruder into his own home.

What about the extreme emotional damage done to a woman who aborts her baby?

You want to add that to the mix by virtually forcing her to have an abortion by convincing her that that is the only solution to her *problem*?

I also have no problem adding inpregnation as an aggravating factor in a rape and thereby moving it to a capital crime.

In the case of actual rape, kill the bastard who raped her, not the baby.

Looks like this thread brought out the pro-abort sleeper trolls.

” Don’t you know that the American dream is a scam? So it is only right that everything should be redistributed and we should all live in the same size energy efficient concrete sided high-rise apartment buildings... unless you are a politician or a member of a government workers union. Then you deserve to live in the houses formerly owned by rich thieves.

If you are a successful business owner you didn’t build that business... you stole it from everyone else. If your family is wealthy it is because your relatives stole it from everyone else. The hard working and the successful don’t deserve to be any better off than 3rd world peasants. In fact they should be punished for their audacity... for thinking they are better than those of us who prefer to sit around playing video games and smoking marijuana.

Don’t you know that the USA is a wealthy country only because we stole everything from all the poor countries and people? It is time to give it all back. Don’t you know we have only 2% of the worlds’ energy reserves but we are using 20% of the world’s energy? Where have you been? Listen to the Obamessiah he will tell you... America not exceptional... America is bad. “

Good post. It shows just how STUPID Obama is.

There have always plenty of pro-aborts here. This Akin business has smoked them out, though.

They can't stand to be associated with pro-life "extremists."

I still predict a lop-sided victory for Romney/Ryan. With this economy in the shape it’s in, Obama’s goose is cooked.

Anything to the contrary, is just wishful thinking on the part of the Dems and the DNCp.

They tried this same thing with Carter in 1980. Reagan blew him out of the water. I believe Carter was reported to be ahead by 7% about this time in 1980. Reagan wound up beating him by 10%.

In 1988 they reported Dukakis was up by 17 points, 55 to 38%.

http://www.nytimes.com/1988/07/26/us/dukakis-lead-widens-according-to-new-poll.html

Bush went on to win 53.4 to 45.7%.

Obama is in serious trouble. He’s got the worst economic situation since the great depression, and he hasn’t got clue one how to fix it.

Any “good marks” given Obama, (and some of them probably even for people who didn’t vote for him) , are given in the spirit of searching for SOME small quotient of credit, so as not to feel too bad when his inevitable defeat happens. No need to gang up on our first Black President. We will all “like” him
when he and his supporters and the Dem Party retreat into the mist of powerlessness come November.

Frankly, why should Romney maintain it? Look at the most popular person on the horizon here, what they have advocated, and then try to rationalize that Romney should act any differently than that person, McCain, or Obama.

Okay you move around a coma or two, added in a extra period here and there, tweaked the numbers a few million to tens of millions. There, fixed.

It’s not an amnesty, and nobody is rewarded. They’ll be citizens inside a decade. But again, there are no rewards and this IS NOT an amnesty. NOW are you crazy malcontents happy yet?

LOL, come on! You left out a pretty important part of my question.

I'm all for killing the rapist, but we can't even do that. Either way, no state allows you to kill someone after the fact. You can kill your attacker to protect your own life; you can't find him a week later and kill him. Don't be obtuse.

Are you one of those who considers a fetus to be a parasite?

Incumbent presidents invariably get popular vote numbers very close to their basic approval ratings and Bork Obunga’s approval has been locked around 43 - 44 percent for two and a half years now, I don’t see how that could change other than for the worse between now and November.

Color me skeptical.
It all depends on voter turnout because there are more Dems than Rs now and Republicans are generally disliked. Most of what Obama does is intended to motivate Dems to get out the vote.
