I recall first noticing Ryan in the limelight early 2010 during that Town Hall debate between Republicans and Obama on Obama-care/Health Care reform.
FNC, the Republican outlets, talk radio hosts were all saying how brilliant Ryan was and what a command of the budget details he had and how he would twist Obama in knots in a debate (much of that clatter was repeated last week.)
But my rule is : Watch what they do, not what they say, and not others opinions. He was hired to help Romney move to the center without backlash and to get bipartision bills passed in the House if Romney wins. I dont buy the spin.
The only thing that can help Republicans this election is enthusiasm gap and turnout. Both sides know this
Your logic is questionable. If abortion is indeed the murder of another human being, how can you rationalize killing some and not others? If the rape victim does not want the child, she can put the child up for adoption. Either life is sacrosanct or it is not.
I do not believe that a girl or woman should be expected to bear a child conceived as a result of a crime, and we’re going to have to trust the word of the girl or woman as whether it truly was rape or incest. When these crimes occur, the victim should be taken to a hospital, forensic evidence gathered, and pregnancy prevented (unless the woman objects), followed by the vigorous prosecution of the rapist.

There is a Political basis to do this. Even if there was a legal basis to sue and someone did it would be like the BC mandate on the Catholic Church, he only cares about the votes it brings him now vs the ones he thinks he will lose, which he has decided ‘not many’ He doesn't care if this stuff holds after the election.
SJB and DDD have not changed their votes over this is how I think he sees it, SOL has NO vote in Maryland so who cares what he thinks?? :)
Just remember where Reagan was in the polls against Carter at this same time in 1980...Obama has been campaigning over a year and still enjoys support from the MSM propagandists and still under 50% of the polling numbers.

Since 2009 I been posting that the next R POTUS will go back into GWB 'spending and tax cut' deficits , aka voter Candy, mode. Ryan's job is to convince us that's it's OK if Romney is POTUS. After all Ryan is a ‘true, proven’ conservative, who can question his word? (SUCKERS)
My other EASY prediction (patting self on back...HA_HA) was that no POTUS, R or not, will try to sell that original Ryan plan. And presto, Ryan (Romney-Ryan) is indeed running away from it.

First of all, what you describe is rare (hard cases make bad law). Second, as horrible as such a crime is, how do you think that girl may feel years later if she starts to understand that she killed a baby who was also hers?

Yes, what Akin said about rape and pregnancy was incredibly stupid, but his point about not killing the baby for the crime of the father is legitimate. There is only one reason to be pro-life, and that is if one believes the baby is a human being with the same right to life as any other.

You obviously don't understand the Obama plan. We are going to print money and write government checks until a candy bar will cost a kid a million bucks. Then paying back a mere $40 trillion or so will be easy. Of course all of your ill-gotten personal savings and investments will be worth nothing also. No one will be rich; we will all be equally poor... utopia yay!

So it is only right that everything should be redistributed and we should all live in the same size energy efficient concrete sided high-rise apartment buildings... unless you are a politician or a member of a government workers union.
