Americans Continue to Give Obama Low Marks on the Economy

Low rating on the economy may be more problematic than even lower deficit rating

PRINCETON, NJ -- Three months before the election, President Barack Obama gets good marks from Americans for his handling of terrorism, fair marks for education and foreign affairs, but poor marks on immigration and three big economic issues: the federal budget deficit, creating jobs, and the economy generally.

Must be renewed every ten years.

Sounds like ginger-bread teeth if you don’t comply.

“Under the plan, eligible young undocumented immigrants who pay a $465 application fee and receive approval from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will be given legal authorization to work and a two-year deferral from deportation.”

NBC/WSJ published a poll today reflecting Obama with a small lead. I had to chuckle when they reflected the African American demographic with Obama 94% and Romney 0%. That is as close to collective mind control as one can get.

We’ve had nearly four years of huge public resources being thrown away on “green” crap that reduces productivity while at the same time increasing cost. Less for more only lowers our standard of living across the board. Any entry level economic student should know that - but not our geniuses in government.

I still think Obama is in to win it. Romney has failed to provide a good argument to change horses to a milquetoast candidate like himself and did nothing by adding a RINO like Ryan to his ticket.

Yeah, Americans want to double down on 4 more years of the same misery. What is Obama offering that is different than his first term - going to focus on jobs like a laser? Going to cut the deficit in half?

The pundits were all saying similar things leading up to the 2010 elections...hit the road Barack.

As a swing state conservative, rest assured that I HAVE come to my senses. I don’t say that romney is a commie scumbag. That’s really over the top.

What I say instead is that willard is an anti-gun pro-abort whose election will likely be the epitaph for conservatism in the US.

November 7th, when Romney wins, the unemployment rate will decrease immediately. Businesses are waiting for the commie to get booted. Our country is at stake.

No one will believe his plan worked. They can spin it all they want. Obama is the wet blanket.

RE :”“Under the plan, eligible young undocumented immigrants who pay a $465 application fee and receive approval from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will be given legal authorization to work and a two-year deferral from deportation.

Good lead-in for my next point.

This temporary policy is a great way to put a gun to illegal’s citizen's relatives heads to come out and vote, regarding those illegals who apply for this. Once they identify themselves then Obama must win or they are in serious danger of deportation, from their view.

Would Republicans ever try such a sleazy scam on us??? NOOOO..... well wait.....

How about all those delayed military spending cuts another $500B that was in the bill they voted for and praised last year that they now call the doomsday cuts?? Better vote for Rs or those cuts will actually go into effect, "End of country, fiscal cliff, OH MY GOD, please don't ask us how this got into law, just vote for us or we all die, the puppy get's it first" .
Gun to Republican voters heads.

BOOM!

Yep, well I wish I could argue against your point. Sadly, it makes too much sense.

Was that why so many whacked out Republicans voted for this POS legislation? Makes you think...

You must admit, who else here would see though them like I do pointing out these details???

I have had it. I just cant buy the argument that I must defend the lesser of liars and defend them with arguments I don’t believe. I am serious about this.

How little will we sell our souls for?

agreed brother...i aint playin the fear/bully bs this time, and a vp pick and empty rhetoric doesnt cut it either...

time to rip off the bandaid...

the whole friggin *logic* of selling out to support a progressive 'R' because 'hes the only one who can win' is empty when *they* wont go on a limb and support anyone else...if they all did that, the rin-o-p would be fixed or dead, and we just might get a [marginally at least] better candidate willing to take the risk...

Permanent doesn’t always mean “forever”. It means “for an extended length of time”. Viewed in that light, compared to a one-year work permit, a 10-year green card is permanent.

I deserve a couple of lashes with a wet noodle for entertaining the thought that Ryan was more than he is. Then I started listening, and my oh my, he’s as big a spinner as the rest of them are.

Why we’ll have balanced budgets in 12 to 16 years. Why we’ll start paying down the debt then. We? He’s going to be there 12 to 16 years. I seriously doubt it.

Between $30 and $40 trillion in debt, then they’ll start paying it down?

They obviously think folks are going to buy in. We’ve seen that they’re right. Sad really.

I agree with you both. These two are not who they are being sold as being.
