Americans Continue to Give Obama Low Marks on the Economy
Low rating on the economy may be more problematic than even lower deficit rating
PRINCETON, NJ -- Three months before the election, President Barack Obama gets good marks from Americans for his handling of terrorism, fair marks for education and foreign affairs, but poor marks on immigration and three big economic issues: the federal budget deficit, creating jobs, and the economy generally.

Hahaha!!!
Bill Paxton played that part well - he was LOSING it!!
That was a much-needed comedy break in the built-up tension in that flick.
Then, when it counted, he turned into an alien-killing machine before he got dragged through the floor...
That movie was one of those rare moments in Hollywood where the sequel is actually better than the original that spawned it.
Don't pay any attention to them. They make a whole lot of noise, but not much dust.
I agree. They used to make me mad, but now I just laugh at them.
Team Obama has made several bald-faced blunders----with ominous results:
<><> Spending $100 million on ads to bash Bain Capital---made no dent in Romney's numbers;
<><> Obama endorsed same-sex marriage which shot Romney's numbers into orbit.
<><> So wounded was the Obama camp on SSM, that Ohaha remained silent on the Chick-Fil-A incident.
<><> Obama's EO for backdoor amnesty to lawbreaking latinos is a resounding dud.
<><>Perry never recovered from the debate when he told Americans we "had no heart" b/c we opposed in-state tuition for illegals.
<><>Hillary lost a primary she should have easily won b/c she came out for drivers' licenses for illegals.
<><> Obama's punching out the Catholic Church on birth control---and his disdain for religion in general---forecasts a huge defeat.
<><> Obama spat on millions of believers who will not tolerate politicos belittling and marginalizing their sacrosanct beliefs.
<><> Let's hope they continue to trot out Michele Obaba---thinking the snarling, fang-toothed, dress-obsessed lady is a "political asset."
Chances are he will not have the guts to do that and will instead just have immigration dept review the cases and keep most of them the same (Green cards)

I’m not convinced he needs to pull a gutsy move here. As I understand it, these green cards are temporary. When they expire, I’d let them expire. End of story...
There was no legal basis for Obama doing what he has done. I would make that very clear, when asked why I wasn’t extending the green cards. “Because it was an illegal act in the first place.” Any further questions?
I didn’t think so...
Nice insight, DO. Although I would betcha the new green card owners used one of their multiple identities and stolen SS nos to get in under Ohaha's EO. They'll reemerge w/ new names and SS nos.
Course, falsifying govt documents is a felony---but who's paying attention to silly US laws? (/snix)
Thanks. Yep, there will be an attempt to evade once again. Nothing changes...
No one is telling anyone they have to raise the baby as their own. Give the child to a loving family through adoption.
I doubt it. The Akin story was no mere “gaffe”. It was/is a created, faux incident....much like other leftist “Flukes” lately. It was created for a purpose. And the purpose is obvious and clear. At least, clear....to me.
This is the left’s next step....to tie Akin’s comments directly TO Romney.
Just a coincidence, I'm sure: DOJ sues Gallup polling firm
Obama is facing a Herbert Hoover type of loss here folks, the BEST he will be able to do on election day is 42-43% reality is, he very well may get a lower percentage of the vote than Hoover did in 1932.
So what was that "career criminal" doing in a position to rape a 13 year-old in the first place?
Forcible Rape used to carry the death penalty (in some states) for the rapist, not the baby.
Now the baby is a rapist?
Of all involved:
The rapist committed a crime.
The victim may or may not have acted in a way (outside of 'normal behaviour' which contributed to the desire of the rapist to commit the crime.
The baby didn't do ANYTHING wrong.
So the solution is to kill the baby? The most (and unarguably so) innocent person involved?
Yep.
I'd explain to her that the only chance for anything good to come of the whole thing is that baby. It is part of her, too.
I don't have to think, and I'm raising grandkids now.
No. My forthright, logical point is that, in the case of rape that results in a pregnancy, there are TWO innocent victims. An abortion can, in this case, be an act of self-defense.
I didn't say the housebreaker was trying to kill you. He is guilty of breaking and entering. He may be unarmed. But as a society we recognize a legitimate interest in self-defense, and don't insist that the homeowner have pictures and notarized statements that he intended to commit violence. A raped, pregnant woman faces the same shadow of possible harm or death in carrying a baby to term. And many of you say, "Let her put it up for adoption". Thats great, if she has a healthy baby. But suppose it is a baby with Downes snydrome? Might be a little difficult to find someone to adopt such a child (though may God doubly bless those who find it in their hearts to do so).
It is in any case a tragic situation in which there is, in my opinion, no "good" answer. One chooses what one thinks is the least bad solution. We have different opinions on what that should be. I just choose to argue the POINT rather than engage in an ad hominem attack against you.
I didn't know that.
Doing a Google it looks like there is a 10 year expiration date on them even though they are called permanent resident cards. Who would guess that? I know relatives who had them once now citizens and they always told they were permanent.
You’re just making stuff up.
Stop doing Obama’s bidding.
This is why we will have troops in Syria and/or Iraq by October. Surprise!
If my 14 yr old daughter is raped and becomes pregnant there is no way I would encourage her to keep the pregnancy. Its just to much for a child to handle.
Health costs are the second most important issue to Americans

It’s interesting that Gallup doesn’t ask about presidential performance on this issue. Obama likely would get slaughtered on health care as well. People have figured out that nearly every promise regarding Obamacare now has or will be broken. Anger over this may determine the election.
