The Obama campaign will later today send out a mass e-mail to supporters from abortion rights activist Sandra Fluke criticizing the comments of embattled Missouri Senate candidate Rep. Todd Akin, R-Mo., and trying to tie them to the GOP presidential platform, ABC News has learned.
The email will be just the latest attempt by the Obama campaign to link the presumptive Republican presidential ticket to Akin, whose widely condemned (and scientifically false) remarks about rape have been disputed by both Mitt Romney and Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wisc., in addition to almost every national Republican official with a pulse.

We sure have entered the Gutter Phase.
the “poor college student who can’t afford birth control” looks like she’s about 42 years old in that photo
See, now their idiotic statments will cancel each other out and we can go into the general confident of a Clairbear loss.
We are doing it wrong.
BILL CLINTON IS SPEAKING AT THE DEMOCRAT CONVENTION...
HELLO????????????
The Obama team is really looking incompetent lately. A good thing.
Wow! The DemocRATS are using Fluke like a cheap, two-bit slut and she’s letting them do it.
The democrat’s National Slut is now their public conscience for all things sexual?
Just another distraction from the real issues.
Not only was Clinton impeached for perjury when he lied about his "activities" with Monica, he was also verifiably guilty of raping Juanita Broderick (not just making a comment about "legitimate" rape) and other illicit sexual behavior with several other women in Alabama while Gov.
However, he is a Democrat..so now he is called upon to be a featured speaker at the convention this year!!! Yep, those Dems surely respect, care for, and are concerned about women.
I think Aiken was out of line, stupid, and spoke inappropriately, yes. But, as usual, the Republicans police their own. They are wringing him in and probably putting an end to his political career.
The Dems, on the other hand, laugh with, make excuses for, admire, even applaud and continue to elect their people who do much worse. Goodness, they defended Anthony Weiner until public pressure was impossible to ignore - and the whole world saw what he did and his disrespect for women (including his own wife).
But - We should know the rules by now: When a Republican says or does something stupid, it is representative of the entire party and their constituents - and the media must hang them out to dry. When a Democrat says something stupid or ignorant (or even commits a crime) then...they "mis-spoke," or, made a "mistake," or it was "taken out of context" - and the media gives them a pass.
Was this slut raped, or raped raped?
Why not? Let the two of them fight it out in the STEEL CAGE DEATH MATCH!!!
"Two women enter, one woman leaves..."
LOL! In this case, they should both just enter and never leave!
