Good thinking. Or at least, a write-in campaign may be our least-bad option.

Hey, it worked, unfortunately, in Alaska for Lisa Turdbronski. But Alaska is much more of a red state, so relatively few voters there were inclined to vote Democratic. In contrast, Missouri is barrrrely red, having gone to McCain in 2008 by only 0.1%.

My point is that, when one must resort to a write-in, one must
1. figure on losing a lot of the votes one WOULD have gotten, as an on-the-ballot, major-party candidate; and
2. conduct an exhaustive “voter education campaign,” like Turdbronski did in Alaska.

So, yeah, write-in is the way to go ... but it won’t be an 11% win, or perhaps will be a loss, thanks to Akin’s idiocy and selfishness. :/

The NRSC denied funds to the AK GOP primary winner, Joe Miller in favor of rino Murkowski

The NRSC also backed rino Charlie Crist over Marco Rubio.

The NRSC yesterday denied funds to Todd Akin.

I see a pattern.
