In an interview with the Washington National Cathedral magazine, President Obama discussed how his faith influenced his politics saying that at the end of the day 'God is in control.'
First and foremost, my Christian faith gives me a perspective and security that I dont think I would have otherwise: that I am loved. That, at the end of the day, God is in control," Obama said.
Obama also tied faith in God to his belief in a compassionate role for government.

Some professing Christians say that we cannot judge whether Obama is a Christian but I say if that is the case then we cannot judge whether a Timber Wolf is a Scottish Terrier. When a man constantly sings the praises of Islam and “The Holy Quran” but never praises Christianity of The Holy Bible I have little problem making what I consider a reasonable evaluation.
He cannot talk about that which never existed. (To be fair, I am not a Christian either, but I don’t claim to be one)
Obama's Religious Ruse: 'I've Always Been a Christian
Obama's Religious Ruse: His 'Conversion'
Obama's Religious Ruse: The Cult of the Marxist Messiah
Here's a small excerpt from the first article:
In 2004 Obama was interviewed by Cathleen Falsani of the Chicago Sun-Times. He told her that Christians "may presume a set of doctrines" that "I don't necessarily subscribe to." Elaborating, he trivialized the core of the Christian faith by which believers live: "If all it took was someone proclaiming I believe [in] Jesus Christ and that he died for my sins, and that's all there was to it, people wouldn't have to keep coming to church, would they." Immediately Falsani asked him if he believes in heaven, and the skeptic mocked: "Do I believe in the harps and clouds and wings?" "I don't presume to have knowledge of what happens after I die," or whether rewards for one's conduct will be in this life only or in a hereafter. He identified "heaven" with feeling that he cares for his daughters and that they are learning from him his mother's values. In the same way, sin - inconsistency with his values - is "its own punishment."[13]

In the light of the foregoing we can better discern from Obama's statements what he actually thinks about Jesus. According to Falsani's transcript, when she asked Obama, "Who's Jesus to you?" he laughed nervously and replied: "Right. Jesus is an historical figure for me, and he's also a bridge between God and man, in the Christian faith, and one that I think is powerful precisely because he serves as that means of us reaching something higher. And he's also a wonderful teacher. I think it's important for all of us, of whatever faith, to have teachers in the flesh and also teachers in history."[38]
Absolutely! Have you read the 2008 three-part article by Alexander LaBrecque at American Thinker?
See my comment below for the links.
Excellent. Thanks for sharing those. I’ll read them today. In an above comment, I posted links to an excellent three-part article at American Thinker by Alexander LaBrecque about Obama’s religious ruse. I found and read them in 2008. They left zero doubt in my mind that Obama does not love or serve the Lord. They’re very long but absolutely worth your time.
Anyone who says we shouldn’t or can’t judge other Christians doesn’t know God’s Word well enough. It is non-believers we shouldn’t judge. God’s Word instructs us to assess fellow believers and expel the wicked from among us. As a man who professes to be a believer, Obama qualifies as one we may judge.

I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people. What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.”
He once held that up as a brave and educated choice. He said (paraphrasing) that he CHOSE to come to Christ and did so as an adult, rather than being indoctrinated in it as a child.
So much for his campaign's claims of being a LIFELONG Christian (who attended koran classes in Indonesia).
This POS is so low he’ll even fake his religion for votes in an election year
So much for the Obamunist’s claim “I am my brother’s keeper”
Barack Obama’s Brother Turns to Dinesh D’Souza in Time of Need

Obama’s brother needed a thousand dollars and called Dinesh D’Souza. Dinesh gave the money, and Dinesh tried to explain in a column why Obama will not help his brother. Dinesh theorizes it’s because his brother’s not a socialist. I’m summarizing it, but essentially Obama doesn’t like his brother because of political differences. And that’s why doesn’t help him. Well, who cares what the reason is? This is inexplicable, and there was no reaction to this. I purposely waited all last week, all through it weekend.
I wanted to find out the reaction. That’s a bombshell of a story to me. I mean, even People magazine I’d think would get a little upset about that. The biggest socialist in the world, the guy who tries to tell us he has the biggest heart and cares more about anybody than anybody else ever has: Barack Obama. And his own brother doesn’t even try to call him for help! He’s still living in a six-by-nine-foot hut and has to call a journalist for financial assistance. And that’s not a story?
Which one, his atheistic, neo-Marixist political faith or his Muslim faith?
“...First and foremost, my Christian faith gives me a perspective and security that I dont think I would have otherwise: that I am loved....”
...except when it comes to protecting the life of unborn infants...
Last time I checked, there NOTHING in my Christian faith that says it’s OK to murder unborn babies.
Oh, this is rich...
I often wonder how people like this can stand to look themselves in the eye in the mirror every day...
pretty simple really, when you have no benchmark to compare yer action against...or if you truly believe you are god, or at least on some higher existence than everybody around you...
with the bambam, my gut tells me its really no more than the allowable lies to infiltrate and conquer the enemy...02...
??? Your Bible doesnt have :
Thou Shall Not Kill unless a woman is exercising her right to choose her reproductive options. ?
Try the NARAL abridged version
Thanks.
I’ll check it out.
Oh, yeah, they’re nice words. They’re words strung together by someone or a committee to sound convincing that he’s Christian. But he’s not.
Christians recognize their Master’s voice, and that voice is just not contained in Obama’s words at all! His stands on abortion, DOMA, celebrating Ramadan, recognizing rights to religious “beliefs” and worship while trampling expression of religious lives regarding contraception, hospital administration and pharmacists, for example, confirms the lies.
Obama’s life is diametrically opposite of a Christ-believing life.

Actually, I think that the guy is basically a secular humanist first and foremost.
Amen.
