Regarding the controversy about Rep. Akin's rape remarks, I have started a petition at the White House website to urge Pres. Obama to disinvite Bill Clinton from the Democrat's convention. Standards must be maintained by both parties.
Please forward the link. After 150 signatures the petition will go live on the White House website.
It can be seen here by those who sign up for a White House petition user acount and then can be signed.

we petition the obama administration to:
Disinvite Former President Bill Clinton From the DNC Convention Over His History of Abusing Women
In light of President Obama's comments at a White House press conference on Aug. 20, 2012, condemning rape and efforts at "qualifying forcible rape versus non-forcible rape," we the undersigned respectfully urge Pres. Obama to uphold his own standard of condemning sexual abuse of women by disinviting former Pres. Bill Clinton from the upcoming Democratic party convention. Mr. Clinton has a history of abusing women. He has been credibly accused of raping Juanita Broaddrick when he was Arkansas Attorney General, according to reports by NBC News and the Wall Street Journal. Mr. Clinton has been accused by numerous women of exposing himself and unwanted sexual touching when he was Governor and President. Mr. Clinton was disbarred for lying about his sexual assaults. He is unfit for the DNC.

Should the Democrats disinvite Bill Clinton to the convention?

Fed up with the Democrats’ war on women, Kristen T of Melbourne, Florida has petitioned the Obama administration, on its own site, to, “Disinvite Former President Bill Clinton From the DNC Convention Over His History of Abusing Women.”
In light of President Obama’s comments at a White House press conference on Aug. 20, 2012, condemning rape and efforts at “qualifying forcible rape versus non-forcible rape,” we the undersigned respectfully urge Pres. Actually, given the ongoing history of the Democratic party, ignoring Clinton’s crimes against women by blaming the victims proves he totally embodies the DNC. Say the name Monica and watch an oh so sensitive liberal—including women—smirk. Clinton victim Gennifer Flowers was mocked because of the unusual spelling of her name. And don’t forget the “trailer trash” women who Dems felt should have been honored that Clinton even looked at them let alone fondled them.
If any moral Democrat (I know, I know) really cared about decency, a similar petition could be launched to bar the Democrat revered Reverend Al Sharpton from his honorable Democratic convention status because of his anti white, anti Jewish actions and rhetoric. Hey, Joe Biden’s racist Macaca references, not to mention his casual plagiarism, qualify for a Democrat disinvite. And more.
But good for you Kristen for bravely entering enemy territory and trying.
