Sorry Jim, I have to disagree with you on this one.

Which will be worse, 4 years of an openly opposed Obama, or 8 years of an unopposed Romney with nobody to oppose his socialist agenda?

I will be voting Constitution party at the top of the ticket and conservatives down ticket.

There’s nothing anywhere, which says one cannot vote for Romney, while still opposing (everything) socialist he makes the mistake of supporting.

And that is assuming he’s even going to be somewhat to the left.

That remains to be seen. The USA is not Massachusetts.

I am undecided. The Ryan selection moved me from ‘hell no’ to a very grudging ‘maybe’. I really can’t be sure until I get to the ballot box.

Which will be worse, 4 years of an openly opposed Obama

We had four years of an openly opposed Obama and he just flipped congress and the people the bird and did what he wanted via executive orders and czars.

What will be worse is an Obama who doesn't have another election to run on. An Obama who knows he has four more years to enact the 'change' he wants and no more. An Obama turbocharged with the thought that he has a 'mandate' and people want his 'fundamental transformation'. An Obama who can stack the courts for a lifetime of ongoing change after he leaves office. (Supreme court justice Holder sounds nice doesn't it?) How about four years of Democrats knowing they won?

At least Mitt, with all his faults, will have to pander for his next election. He isn't an activist, just a RINO politician who cares about votes and money. In a perfect world, we wouldn't have to consider him, but it isn't perfect, we are up against a Marxist Activist. With that option, I'll take the surliest punk I can because that punk will be willing to 'soil his morals' and play dirty to stop him.

I will be voting Constitution party...

Rationally speaking, it is mathematically impossible for Goode to win, period. He isn't qualified on enough ballots to reach the 271 margin. The way electors are divvied out though, it is better to just not vote. Plus, why is Goode any better, he has a few years of pandering to the Right, but he is a former Dem who frankly, isn't much better than Mitt except he is bad at math.

NOT SO!!! There will be a GOP House with the Young Guns the ilk of Paul Ryan and a GOP Majority in the Senate with new guys like the awesomely Conservative Ted Cruz from Texas. Romney will be held in check. Please reconsider.

Openly opposed by whom? Congress?! Obama has already proven he and his Marxist cronies are going to do what they want via Executive Order, and will bypass the Republican-controlled House whenever it suits their agenda. Taking control of the Senate with a large enough majority for Obama to sit up & take notice (i.e., impeachment) may be too much of a pipe dream in a single election cycle.

I respect you & others who choose to vote their conscience. But the only way to put the brakes on Obama is to remove him from office, not elect more Conservatives "down ballot" with the intention of reigning him in.

“I will be voting Constitution party at the top of the ticket and conservatives down ticket.”

You are a fool. The constitution party nominee is a former Rat congressman who supports Ron Paul’s foreign policy.

If Obama wins reelection he’ll never have to face voters again and he’ll finish off this country.

Romney, on the other hand, will have no choice but to govern as a conservative. He’s a businessman and he is not stupid. At the very least he’ll balance the books and start paying off the debt. He can be primaried out of office in 2016 if he doesn’t live up to what he’s promising (and he knows it).

"I will be voting Constitution party at the top of the ticket and conservatives down ticket."

Then, you are no better than a front-line soldier who shoots up into the air, rather than at the enemy...

Looks like you haven't yet received your personal "slap upside the head" that convinces you that Øbama is a clear and present danger to all of us who love freedom and uphold our Constitution.

Here was my "wakeup call" (see my FRProfile) :

Fusion Center Documents Label OKC Bombing Investigators as Terrorists

All I did was write an engineering analysis of the collapse of the Murrah Building -- and, now, I'm on Øbama's DOJ/DHS "Fusion Center Terrorist Watch List". And the crazy thing is we disbanded the Committee when we published our report -- a decade ago!!

If you aren't knowledgeable about Napolitano/Holder's "Fusion Centers" and Golder's "BJA", you owe it to yourself to do some research on the subjects. Since you are a FReeper, I wager that you will find yourself on one of Øbama's "lists".

And, if that doesn't convince you that Øbama is a FAR worse threat than Romney, realize that Øbama has already signed the executive order that empowers his goons to incarcerate you -- without charges -- indefinitely.

——I will be voting Constitution party ——

You will be pretending to vote for a pretend candidate. There are only two candidates. All others are pretending, for narcissistic fame or just for the money
