Denver police are searching for a man accused of unleashing a pit bull mix on a bride at her wedding reception and then beating her with brass knuckles.
"The whole time he just stood there and laughed," the 22-year-old bride, Brittany Cortez, said of her alleged attacker, Joel Nevarez, a troubled childhood friend who has been in and out of mental hospitals.
"He let that dog drag me around the street like a rag doll," the bride said. "He punched me in the face and the back of the head with brass knuckles."
...
Nevarez may have fled to Mexico, where his mother lives.

“Oh no, that poor man! What will happen to his children, if he has any, and the dog if he’s not allowed back????” (liberal thinking).

Nevarez may have fled to Mexico, where his mother lives. Did they bother to profile at the border for this wanted suspect?

Police: Man Unleashes Pit Bull Mix On Bride At ReceptionI swear, my first thought is that the perp commandeered the DJ into playing Pitbull's hideous rap music.

HAHAHA! That is what I was thinking.
A good husband always waits until AFTER the honeymoon before he pulls this sh**.

How is the dog being a “mix” at all relevant, besides just demonstrating poor journalism skills?

This is completely nontraditional. The traditional “Fistfight at the Mexican Wedding Reception” is supposed to be between a member of the bride’s family and a member of the groom’s family, with one or more mother’s-in-law pulling the strings behind the scene, and it should never involve animals.
Quite the faux pas, I’d say.

This was in Colorado, a conceal carry state.
There should have been one (up to a) .45 calibre PDX or Critical Defense round, at point blank range to the dog's rib cage . . .
And as brass nuckles are a deadly weapon (the perp is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon), especially on the hands of a crazy man, one of the same rounds to the bridge of the perp's nose would have been appropriate.

I’m not sure why they assumed he went back to Mexico.
Did they look in line where the locals are signing up for the new ‘legal’ status?
This is just the guy they are trying to make legal.
Lets hear it for this wonderful idea.

Although substituting Powers Booth and Michael Biehn for the instigators is acceptable.

That reminds me of a story from the early 20th Century.
Seems the Bride and Groom left on their honeymoon in their buggy. After a couple of miles the horse refused to cross a creek. The new husband reached out with his buggy whip and flicked the horse across his ears and said “That's one”.
Another couple of miles the horse balked after seeing a rabbit. Again the husband fliked the horse across the ears, this time saying, “That's two”. With only a few miles left until they stopped for the night, the horse stumbled, then refused to go on. The husband then said, “that's three’ then took out his pistol and shot the horse. The horrified bride then exclaimed to her new husband,”That is the cruelest thing I have ever seen.” To which the husband replied, “That's One”.
