(CNSNews.com) The man who shot a security guard at the Family Research Council (FRC) on Wednesday was given a license to do so because of groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) that have labeled the FRC a hate group, said FRC President Tony Perkins. The conservative Christian group is posted on a Hate Map on the SPLCs Web site.
There are 13 groups listed for the District of Columbia on the Hate Map, and the Family Research Council is among them, according to the SPLC, because of its support for traditional marriage and Christian morality.

SPLC IS A HATE GROUP AND THEIR HATE AND BIGOTRY SHOWS ALL THE TIME AGAINST CHRISTIANS AND CONSERVATIVES
SPLC is a hate group and they have added to this shooting of which I see the networks have hardly covered including FOX.
have you seen the links they have on their site?
It’s got links to media matters, daily KOS, etc.
Hell just even those two sites are bigoted and hateful.
What a joke the SPLC are and the media treats them if they were some qualified decent group.
In addition they are fascists attempting to silence those who disagree with them by labeling them hate groups. Which is exactly what I submitted in a post. We will see if they post it.
Not to mention a real pervert, documented by his ex wife.
Don’t go to this site, unless you want to get ill— it is the full divorce case documents on this weirdo:

It all fits the morality of marxists— none.
Here’s a letter from a noted civil rights atty in ATL, who has correctly id’d who and what Dees is:
Kenneth C. Randall, Dean and
Thomas L. McMillan, Professor of Law
School of Law
University of Alabama
249 Law Center
Box 870382
101 Paul W. Bryan Drive
Tuscaloosa, AL 35487-0382
Dear Dean Randall:
Thank you very much for the invitation to speak at the law schools commencement in May. I am honored by the invitation, but regret that I am not able to accept it due to other commitments at that time.
I also received the law schools invitation to the presentation of the Morris Dees Justice Award, which you also mentioned in your letter as one of the great things happening at the law school. I decline that invitation for another reason. Morris Dees is a con man and fraud, as I and others, such as U.S. Circuit Judge Cecil Poole, have observed and as has been documented by John Egerton, Harpers, the Montgomery Advertiser in its Charity of Riches series, and others.
The positive contributions Dees has made to justicemost undertaken based upon calculations as to their publicity and fund raising potentialare far overshadowed by what Harpers described as his flagrantly misleading solicitations for money. He has raised millions upon millions of dollars with various schemes, never mentioning that he does not need the money because he has $175 million and two poverty palace buildings in Montgomery. He has taken advantage of naive, well-meaning peoplesome of moderate or low incomeswho believe his pitches and give to his $175-million operation. He has spent most of what they have sent him to raise still more millions, pay high salaries, and promote himself. Because he spends so much on fund raising, his operation spends $30 million a year to accomplish less than what many other organizations accomplish on shoestring budgets.
The award does not recognize the work of others by associating them with Dees; it promotes Dees by associating him with the honorees. Both the law school and Skadden are diminished by being a part of another Dees scam.
Again, thank you for the invitation to participate in your commencement. I wish you and the law school the very best.
Sincerely,
Stephen B. Bright

Back in 1975 Morris Dees was on the gun control bandwagon and predicted that “in five years I will have put the National Rifle Association out of business”.
Yeah, right. But this is even worse. Now the hateful Dees says it’s OK to kill those who disagree with his agenda. No, I’m not exaggerating.
And notice how the faggie groups are now oh so sympathetic (publically, that is) with the FRC, a group they despise down to the very depths of their hideous darkened souls.
Hypocrisy, thy name is GBLT.
Here’s how an ultra-leftie greedy pervert poverty pimp Morris Dees lives in Montgomery Alabama. A very annoyingly busy kitschy bunch of crap in a fancy, very un-Southern home. If you have the time or stomach for it, and it has photos of the current, uh wife (no doubt her taste in decorating too).
Sue them out of existence for the slanderous accusations that has resulted in a terrorist attack.
When Quayle was our Veep, “both” political parties fought to prove that they were the best party for strong FAMILY VALUES.
Today, the docile Family Research Council is labeled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Research Center, and the Huffington Post - - - - go counter-culture (sarc)!
The power of propaganda.
By almost any definition - they are a hate group.
I suggest the New York Times and Washington Post ask the SPLC to open their files and air out the truth. There are some real hate groups - liberal and conservative. I'd like to know who they are and what they're doing. The only reason to keep everyone in the dark is if the Poverty Law Center is lying. That's right - making up large numbers of 'dangers' in order to push an extreme liberal agenda. It's time for the Press to do their duty and investigate this organization - investigate enought of the 'hate' organization so the rest of us can make our call... Maybe most of us in this country support the idea of traditional marriage. Yes, most of us. Not just right wingers, not just conservatives... MOST AMERICANS support traditional marriage. How many 'hate' groups are people who believe marriage is between one man and one woman? I'd like to know.
Will some New York Times editor - sitting by his phone - waiting for James Carville to call - please look into this story. Dems won't feed you this one... Do one story a year WITHOUT it being fed to you by a liberal... a Clinton whatever.
The Poverty Law Center functions like a Communist Front Organization. Secrets, cells, classified lies... IF it's as bad as the center says - if there is some VAST VAST VAST right wing conspiracy - why haven't any of us here heard about it? Why is it a secret? Why keep the press out of the loop? Shouldn't we all be warned? Warned IF it's that bad?
Why was ACORN distributing 'Don't Tread on ME' flags at early Tea Party groupings?
These things are connected.
I believe the so called "Poverty Center' coordinated with ACORN to create an appearance that fit lies put out by the Center.
The American press has an opportunity to redeem themselves... now is that time.
Does Soros financially support the Southern Poverty Law Center?
Maybe The Huffington Post knows the answer to that question?
If conservatives were smart they would hunt down the power and influence the Southern Law Poverty Center has weaseled into the Federal government’s law enforcement. They have a lot to do with DHS and DOJ naming conservatives as domestic terrorists. They should be no where near power. They are radicals and would murder all of their political enemies if they could.
If they have instrucuted law enforcement to go after their political enemies, they would all be open to law suits for damages and civil rights violations.
