Via Guy Benson, no self-respecting eeyore would leave a headline as rosy as the above unchecked, so heres me checking it right off the bat. According to Gallups tracker, Romneys gotten almost no bounce from the Ryan pick yet. Theyve seen a bit of movement in the last two days, so there may be a delayed bounce coming, but little in the two days before that. In fact, heres Nate Silver scanning across the dial:
Romney's Ryan bounce across 11 polls thus far: +5, +5, +2, +2, +2, 0, 0, 0, -2, -2, -2. So, take your pick. +0.9 on average.

Seems like there’s been a bunch of articles on polling today. Thankfully, most look like decent-to-good news.

One more swing state, and that’s it for Obama.
Romney/Ryan need to lock down these states and maximize the amount of defense Obama has to pour into other states.

What Rummnie and Ryan NEED to do is go on the offense about what Obamacare is going to do to this Republic. They need to attack the Senior that Obamacare CUTS $750 BILLION FROM MEDICARE!!! And that this is going to seriously impact seniors. No operations, give you a pill and let you die. English medicine. They need to show how the many foreign and military related mistakes he has made that has cost lives of our troops and other civilian deaths by Gitmo releasees, the Soviet sub in the Gulf undetected for nearly a MONTH!!! Can you say screwed if a Soviet attack sub can come in a dump a few dozen nukes on the nation. No miss from there. They have to attack now and keep it up. GIVE NO QUARTER!!!

Polls, shmoles. The contest is over when a prominent Dem has a Wellstone moment. Disheartening polls can help them get there by frightening them, but until somebody major wigs out on Prime Time non-cable TV, it’s not a done deal.

The contest is over when a prominent Dem has a Wellstone moment. It's over when Mitt Romney takes the oath of office. Until then, put nothing past the Liberal Messiah and His minions. There was a shooting today at the Family Research Council. Do you think it's too much for them to threaten the Electors (as in the Electoral College) or to attack the Republican Convention? Remember Chief Justice Roberts.

He’s gonna need at least a 10 point advantage to overcome the fraud vote.

Portman is my Senator, and I’m not unhappy that he wasn’t chosen as VP. He can do more and be more effective in the Senate.
I was polled again today by a group who called themselves Independent Political Research. ( I think that was their name - they gave a toll free number if I wanted to check them out).
I, of course, voted straight Republican to their questions. It was a computer call - no one live on the other end.
