I think Chick Fil A is a micrcosm of this years election.

City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, who is openly gay, sparked an uproar a couple of weeks ago when she fired off a letter to NYU demanding it get rid of its Chick-fil-A branch on the grounds that businesses that discriminate don't belong here.

I publicly challenge Quinn to cite ANY discrimination by Chik-fil-A.

Something else important to take from this is that the 82%+ percentage of people who "voted" to tell the pols to leave CFA (or other businesses) alone have probably never had a CFA sandwich! There are only 2 in the NYC "metro" area, one on a college campus (which I believe has been closed during this whole mess) and at the Paramus Mall, in Paramus, NJ - Not exactly a hop, skip, and a jump for most NY residents.

And just wait until those people get a taste of CFA's lemonade or peach milk shakes!

Had Chick fil A yesterday. They have folks outside taking orders to make the drive through move faster. It was lined up around the building during lunch through the drive thru. Then this morning driving by it was packed again for breakfast. The quality of the workers is far superior than the local McD and Burger King. They have a good operation.
