Chelsea Clinton isn’t ruling out a future in politics, she tells Vogue. The former first daughter, who has long avoided the press, let journalist Jonathan Van Meter follow her around “for weeks” for a new profile in the magazine’s September issue. From the piece:
People around Chelsea have noticed a change in her, too. “As she’s been exposed to the foundation and to what her father’s doing with his post-presidential life,” says Hillary Clinton’s deputy chief of staff, Huma Abedin, “I think a light switched on: This is the legacy I’m going to inherit. To say it is an incredible one is an understatement. She now knows that in 20, 30 years, everything about her father’s legacy is in her hands. It’s going to be Chelsea’s responsibility to carry that torch. This is the core of what her grandmother encouraged her to do: embrace her inheritance.”In many ways, she already has.

You mean like when she had a whole freakin series of specials on NBC??? Spare me the storyline. This is the Number One problem with American politics and it happens with Republicans too. There should be NO political dynasties. They are filled with people who don't know how to really earn a living.
It appears she’s figured out she can’t hack it as a journalist and is looking for something even easier.
Translation: The aimless child of a political family finds out she’s not very interested or very good at any of the gift-jobs that she’s had despite getting the best educational opportunities money & political influence can buy. But she has had her ‘ticket punched’ allowing her to claim ‘experience’ in business and the News Media (just don’t look too closely at that resume!).
So now she’s decided that (big surprise!) “I think I’ll try politics!” And another Democrat political dynasty is born.
Her daddy Webb Hubbell must be so proud!
