(Reuters) - Nine Nobel Peace laureates, including retired South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu, on Monday called on television network NBC to cancel its "Stars Earn Stripes" reality show, calling it a bid to "sanitize war by likening it to an athletic competition."
The competition show, due to air for the first time on Monday evening, puts eight celebrities such as singer Nick Lachey and politician Sarah Palin's husband Todd, through military-style training, including helicopter drops and long-range weapons firing.

Watching it now. Todd very impressive. A military guy (Navy Seal, I think) said: Todd’s like Rambo, if I’m in a fix, I’d want him on my team.

Rev. Tutu should concern himself more with his country’s “Rapeocracy” and violence, instead of criticizing an American TV show. South Africa has been one big ghetto-gang bang since Tutu and his people pushed to end “Apartheid”....well, it is just now “Apartheid” on whites there
Why is it that blacks are so much more concerned with white people handling weapons.....than with black people killing each other with weapons?

He was joined in the letter by American anti-landmines campaigner Jody Williams, Mairead Maguire and Betty Williams of Northern Ireland, former East Timor President Jose Manuel Ramos-Horta, Argentine artist Adolfo Perez Esquivel, Rigoberta Menchu Tum of Guatemala and Iranian lawyer Dr. Shirin Ebadi. Every one of these people is a Leftie, a screaming Communist or an America-basher. Who gives a sh__t what they say? I sure as Hell don't.

Nobel laureates (aka Communists) want people to hate the military so that we will be weakened and feminized, and won't fight back against the oppressors.
Screw 'em. I didn't give them their laughable little awards.

I like Dean Cain, but hadn’t planned on watching it. Now that I see Todd Palin is also participating, I’ve set my DVR to record the repeat this Saturday at 9 p.m.

Todd was a stud on the show.
As an Army vet, I think the show is kind of lame; and watched only because Todd Palin is on the show.
