From reader Tim who is at the Romney-Ryan appearance in High Point, North Carolina:
"Going into the doors. Holy moly I can’t believe the people. One picture is the front of the line, one picture kinda the back, EXCEPT my camera can’t capture two and a half blocks of people. Many are actually women (the shock)."
Tim just emailed again:
"I have never been to a rally, but the picture in my head did not include a line to get off the exit, a half mile walk to the line and then a multiple block line. Consider me heartened."... PHOTOS at Link

tried to go to Ashland VA rally....same look and feel.......a very long line and did not make it inside....only complaint is they had no outside speakers to hear speeches...but tons of people

Romney needs to understand, though, that the enthusiasm is NOT for his presidency, but for saving America from the Marxists intent on destroying it.
Wow. Look at all the women and seniors on line. Sure they’re not all waiting for their free birth control pills? LOL. I’m feeling very optimistic. I think obama’s support has been narrowed down to the fringe element of his party. No way he picks up mainstream America this time around.

Over the weekend I took a poll in NC. I drove on I 77 from the Virginia line to Durham on I 40. I drove around a good bit in Durham and visited several large parking lots. I traveled in excess of 400 miles in two days.
I saw a total of two, that is 2, Obama2012 bumper stickers. Both were on the vehicles of Black women.
I saw no, that is 0, Romney bumper stickers.
To me this means that Obama does not have the burning gut support as he did previously.
I don’t accept that.
