There seriously needs to be a way to call the bluff of freepers who constantly whine about "yankee transplants who tell us how to run our state" and set up some kind of "political transplant exchange" program, where we agree to take back our "yankees" and they can have all our politicians that are from south of the Mason-Dixon line (according to them, there's no such thing as southerners who move to Illinois, so there's nothing to worry about)
The northern states would fare far better under this deal and rid ourselves of numerous commies that have wreaked our states. I guess we'd end up with Don Sunquist back, but getting rid of Jackson Sr. & Jr. would be well worth it. And I haven't even started to look into all the southern transplants we have in the state legislature and local governments.
I’d make the trade, all Illinois natives for all carpetbaggers.
