Fellow Freepers,
Thought you might like seeing some pics from this morning's rally at which Mitt Romney announced Rep. Paul Ryan as his running mate. The atmosphere was highly excited... it had a degree of enthusiasm reminiscent of the Palin rally I attended in Richmond in October 08. The place literally erupted when Ryan stepped out from the U.S.S. Wisconsin and walked toward the stage. It was a GREAT event!

Congratulations. Nice job with the pictures. Watching on FNC I was impressed with your Governor.

I travel around and I haven’t seen hardly any Romney stickers on cars, perhaps now that he has a running mate we may see some? Need to get some for my vehicles.

...The crowd was large (moved from a smaller venue) and much larger than what Barry did a couple of weeks ago in Henrico. This is getting typical, and how grand it is. The crowds coming to see Obama during his past campaign days seem to be long gone. That's the hope and change we like.

That’s because it’s true. A lot of us will need to learn how to breathe again.

We went went to the rally in Manassas. It was so packed the line was 3 blocks long. We went early but it still took us two hours to get in. Once we were in there was no place to see unless you watched the Jumbotron. But I did manage to get a pic of Mrs Suhks and her Mitts which were a hit. Lots of people stopped us to take a pic.

Scott, you da MAN!
Wish I had gone...had no idea The Announcement would happen or would’ve gone. Love Ryan! Looks like a lot of folks there in a rather small venue but everyone looks pumped...
Great pix, thank a lot.

I started posting that last night. Seems like a logical slogan to me.

How about these as well...
“After 4 years of a bad case of B.O., isn’t it about time we got some R&R?”
Or this one...
“We tried the O.B. method (Obama/Biden), it didn’t work...now we just need some good old fashioned R & R!”

If you can find the video on line, Mom, you must watch...it was wonderful! I had chills and cried...am now excited for this election. Can’t you just see the convention finale...the pretty wives, all those beautiful children, grandchildren, and the two hunks on stage. :)
