Nearly three decades ago, Barack Obama stood out on the small campus of Occidental College in Los Angeles for his eloquence, intellect and activism against apartheid in South Africa. But Mr. Obama, then known as Barry, also joined in the party scene.
Years later in his 1995 memoir, he mentioned smoking “reefer” in “the dorm room of some brother” and talked about “getting high.” Before Occidental, he indulged in marijuana, alcohol and sometimes cocaine as a high school student in Hawaii, according to the book. He made “some bad decisions” as a teenager involving drugs and drinking, Senator Obama, now a presidential candidate, told high school students in New Hampshire last November.
Mr. Obama’s admissions are rare for a politician (his book, “Dreams From My Father,” was written before he ran for office.) They briefly became a campaign issue in December when an adviser to Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Mr. Obama’s chief Democratic rival, suggested that his history with drugs would make him vulnerable to Republican attacks if he became his party’s nominee.
Mr. Obama, of Illinois, has never quantified his illicit drug use or provided many details. He wrote about his two years at Occidental, a predominantly white liberal arts college, as a gradual but profound awakening from a slumber of indifference that gave rise to his activism there and his fears that drugs could lead him to addiction or apathy, as they had for many other black men.

Intellect?
Obama transferred hating himself into hating America and became the image of God in his own mind.
Years ago, such an admission of drug use would have been an impediment to many jobs, especially security-related jobs. It appears that any dregs of society can aspire to be President. I’d say that office has been cheapened considerably.
I believe very little about this guy good or bad.
He’s a total fabrications from the word go.
Look at his name for example. Barry Soweto. This guy doesn’t even go with his original name. What would he not change, if he’s willing to change that?
Generally, when we think of people changing their name, we think of someone in trouble with the law, or someone trying to run from a history. Either way, it’s not all that good is it.
He’s a flake. He was a blank slate and the Left built upon what was already there, to create a Frankensteinian fabrication. Okay, that’s stretching it. One step removed, and it’s right on target.
Amazing. Everyone they talked to had great things to say about him. Unnatural, in fact.

So, what makes anyone think the turd has cleaned up since then? I doubt it very much. He just has access to better stuff now, and SS protection.....
3 years of getting high = over 1000 days.
Buying illegal Schedule 1 narcotics is a felony.
SO .... if Obama bought every illegal drugs every day, then he’s committed 1000 drug felonies
... if he bought every 2 days, that’s still at least 500 felonies he’s committed
... if every 3 days, over 300 felonies ....
AND THIS GUY’S CAMPAIGN wants to paint Romney as a criminal??
I’m surprised somebody found people who knew Zero and would talk about him. Now can we hear from some people who knew him at Columbia and Harvard?

Obama's past is gearing up to be an issue this time around.

I remember at the time them talking about how bright he was and that he was their go to guy over the horizon.
I remember thinking..., that’s a very large mount of fertilizer at this stage in the game.
