Tea party focused on coming GOP Senate primaries

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — Sarah Palin is mounting an aggressive campaign in Missouri — in television and radio ads, in automated telephone calls, even serving barbecued pork sandwiches at a rural political picnic. She's urging residents to vote for Sarah — Sarah Steelman, one of three Republicans in a prickly U.S. Senate primary.

Fresh off a resounding Republican runoff victory by Ted Cruz in Texas, Palin and the tea party movement now are trying to capitalize in primaries this month in Missouri, Wisconsin and Arizona. But they may pose a more difficult test than in Texas, where the charismatic Cruz waged an outsider's campaign against the Republican establishment's pick of Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst.

I’m an OKIE but have been a Missouri resident since 2005. Tommorrow both my wife and I will be in line to vote for Steelman. I am grateful Sarah Palin came to Missouri and endorsed a candidate. Her endorsement was what got me to go with Steelman. So, Palin DOES have influence.

I have made a point to express my open contempt for Romney, and have made it clear I WILL NOT vote for him in the general election. However, taking that stand, the Senate and House races are even more important to me. I’m glad we in Missouri are going to replace Dem Claire McRaskal with a conservative Republican. With Sarah Palin’s endorsement, it could be Steelman....it certainly influence this family.

I will pray and vote...the rest is in God’s hands.

Here’s a must watch and pass on about what is going on in the Senate. Everyone needs to see this before voting.

“You are a fool if you play that game.”

FRiend, if you want to see a real fool, try looking in the mirror. The divide and conquer crowd are not on the dem left, they are the GOP establishment that keep foisting phoneys like Romney on the GOP.

Romney is a pro-aborion, pro-homosexual, gun grabber, and a big government statist. IF you think that is acceptable, then you don’t understand what a fool is! However, you really need to learn!

You have stepped over a line you should not have. The owner of the Website, Jim Robinson, refuses to vote for Romney just like I do, because Romney is NO BETTER than Obama. Now...you tell him he is an “idiot” because he refuses to vote for Romney.

I will ping him and you can explain your rhetoric. Free Republic is NOT a place to be pro-Romney...or to berate those principled conservatives that won’t support him. Jim Robinson has been very clear about that.

I’d rather Jim Robinson speak for himself. If he feels he cannot vote for whoever opposes Obamelli the fascist-I will wait for him to state that. Make no mistake that Obama is killing this nation with debt. I’d vote for any half baked Republican to oust a man who is using exec orders to bypass the constitution.

Jim Robinson has repeatedly stated he WILL NOT support or vote for Romney. However, although he is a very busy man. I will ping him and see if he will respond to you.

BTW - Just do a “user” search under Jim Robinson for the last couple of weeks. You will find numerous occasions where he has stated his strong disdain for Romney.

I voted for Steelman in the primary yesterday here in Missouri. Unfortunately, she did not win. However, the fellow that did is conservative, not necessarily as fiscally conservative as the Tea Party likes. He will still be a good replacement for Claire McRaskil.
