Where is DeMint? Gov. Walker of Wisconsin? Palin? Newt? this is disgusting. Romney and the good ole boys in the establishment are not uniting the true conservatives.

They do not care about Conservatives... as long as we STFU and do exactly as the overlords in the gop order us to do.

Somebody had to get booted out of the tent to make room for all the crisco butts satisfied with an occasional political reach around.

Do people on either side actually watch this crap? I wouldn’t watch regardless of who is on.

Real life and death problems and both sides have a wrestling event with scripted promos. Complete with each person getting their theme music as they walk out.

Just stupid from both political sides. Total crapfest and boredom from complete hacks and phonies.

Their tent is not big enough for us to enjoy but our money fits into their account perfectly. Funny how that works out!

Given the history, I’m sure they would say that it is WE that are trying to co-opt their Grand Old Party. It’s the problem we face with only two parties. As folks recoil in horror from what they wrought last time, they flee into the big tent, but their tidal influx keeps the party moving leftward. Not that I agree with that, necessarily.

“Look, Mitt’s going to be a good president, and I think when you look at what Obama has done and what Mitt Romney brings to the table in terms of being able to manage something, anything.”

Well, I guess Mike has lost credibility in my eyes (although he did say “good” not “great” - this could be damning with faint praise). Thanks for the information.

Has Sarah Palin been as vocal in support of Romney?

Thanks again for the quote by Mike Huckabee. I am afraid that Mike has, like so many before him, been infected by that terrible virus known as “party loyalty.” This disease keeps, otherwise conservative, folks from opposing a bad call by someone in their own party...or someone in their party running for office.

“My short list of convention speakers would include Rick Santorum, Clint Eastwood, Sarah Palin, Herman Cain, Newt Ginrich, Dennis Miller, Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan and Michelle Bachman.”

Except for Palin (and maybe even including her), I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re soon attacked for any or all of the rest of your choices. Circular firing squad.

I bet that every speaker would have to submit their speech for prior aproval. Its hard to imagine that she would do that.

I think that’s accurate. As long as conservatives keep returning to the Grand Old Plantation, the party will continue to drift to the left.

I wouldn’t complain about any of the conservatives on that list, though there’s no way they would all speak in the ‘big tent’.

Martinez and Haley are the only speakers listed on the official list who even moderately interest me, though.
