Check out the ad hoc performance of the fastest man on the planet, Mr. Usain Bolt:

He respected the Flag more than our President
That is a FANTASTIC point!
Mr. Bolt has more respect for America than the pResident in the White House...
It probably had to do with the reporter assuming that, because the reporter possibly liked American Football, that everybody else would like it too sort of question.
If you had a son, of Olympic caliber who had won a gold in London, who was asked by an English reporter if he intended to sign up for the national sport of Cricket, what sort of response would your son give?
Probably a similar response Usain gave to the reporter. :)
If I had son he’d be way too young for the Olympics. ;-D
If I was an Olympian and asked such a question I’d be flattered that someone thought I could compete in a different sport.
I think most non-Americans would have thought it bizarre if an American reporter asked them if they were intending to join an American sport when they were finished their Olympic career.
I don’t think Usain was necessarily being disrespectful, as much as he was simply taken back by (in his POV) a bizarre question.
I’d have to see the video tape to be sure on that point, but that is my suspicion, because I would probably have the same reaction in that situation.
It would be like an Irishman asking an American athlete if they were interested in playing Gaelic Football when they are finished.
You Tube is gone.
Dang...oh well, maybe the footage will show up somewhere else on the nets.
Word is before the games Bolt dumped his hot White girlfriend Lubica Kucerova cause people in Jamaica weren’t cool with their star dating a honky. Classy.
A journalist accused Bolt of doping yesterday. He said the Jamaicans are notorious for doping and difficult in testing.
Bob Marley’s fault.
