At least four people were shot just after 10 a.m. Sunday at the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, and a police SWAT team entered the building before noon and brought uninjured people out of the building at 7512 S. Howell Ave.
Among those who were shot was the president of the temple.
People were in the temple as early as 6:30 a.m. Sunday and many more were arriving for a service that was to begin about 11:30 a.m.
There were reports that children were taken to the building's basement after shots were fired.

If this turns out to be Muslims or angry homosexuals, the media will spin like they've never spun before. Right now, it appears they're already blaming it on "intolerance" for Muislims - code for "right wing Tea Partier!".

BTW, folks, while I imagine it’s “fun” to speculate on who the shooter might be, the reality is we just don’t have much solid evidence, just hearsay. The only reliable, consistent report I’ve heard is a bald, bulky white male.

Not necessarily. I think it will probably turn out to be aryan brotherhood types, but the fact that there were apparently several of them (from what we know now) could also mean Russian Islamists. Ths is their modus operandi.
As of 11:39 Pacific, the only consistent information is that there was one shooter who was taken down by a police officer. There are either 3 or 4 people shot, though no reports of fatalities.
There is conflicting information as to whether or not there may be an additional shooter(s) inside the temple. My guess is there are not. More likely, given that it’s a 17,000 sq ft bldg and there are at least dozens of terrified temple members hiding in closets, bathrooms, basement and wherever, it’s going to take law enforcement an enormous amount of time to sweep, clear and secure the bldg.
I could be wrong, but based on not seeing any snipers stationed on the roof or perimeter of the bldg, and given that the area surrounding the building hasn’t been evacuated, my guess is the on-scene law enforcement doesn’t believe there’s any further danger, there are no hostages, and there are no additional shooters.
We don’t know if the motivation of the shooter was personal, political, religious, or just a random psycho guy. My guess is the latter, but we’ll know soon enough.
