That’s great. I saw another poster saying this today.
When I went by our local unit on Wednesday, I purposefully showed up at 2:45pm, and the place was mobbed. I wanted to see what the atmosphere was like at a time you’d normally think of as down time. There were 12 to 15 protesters on site, but they were outnumbered at least 10 to 1, and our side was replenishing their numbers every fifteen minutes.
That twelve folks had been there for hours.
A line on Friday evening, might be something you’d normally expect. I am glad to hear that your local store was getting a lot of business though. If this holds up, Chick-Fil-A may actually permanently double their income.
Not bad huh. Very cool...
We went today at 2:45. 4 gay protestors at the outer part of the parking lot...one ol’ geezer was holding a sign that said kiss me??? The parking lot was full, there were 5 cars in front of me and very shortly 6 more in line behind us.
The girl at the window said it just really hasn’t slowed down at all yet.
I also asked her if as media reported where people being rude about gay people, or affirming Cathy’s right to free speech, and supporting traditional marriage. She said not one rude comment had been made about gay people, it was all supportive towards the company.
