We staged a rally this morning at the Northridge CA "Chick-fil-A" (in Los Angeles) My sign below. I point out that Free Speech is a right -- and the Right to boycott, shop elsewhere is your economic freedom as well. Many news media outlets were there. They interviewed us. We emphasized free speech, Chicago's move to perhaps pull licenses from Chick-fil-A restaurants - that move was Anti-free speech and Anti-free private enterprise. Our Rights include the right to have 'annoying' opinions and to be 'annoying' business owners, as long as these activities are voluntary and peaceful. Shop there, don't shop there - it's your choice. It's called the 13th Amendment: you are FREE to start your own individual business, express your views, lose money if people don't like it. FREE enterprise. All in all it was a fruitful event, I think the media "got it" (the philosophy behind our rights to free speech, economic freedom & free enterprise).

The CFA we usually go to is always packed at lunchtime, ALWAYS. I can only imagine what it looked like today. I couldn’t get there but had been planning to try on Friday... though now I read that’s the day to gay mafia has decided to descend and perform their.. uh.. antics.

We just finished two burgers and two strawberry shakes. The place was jammed and I got the food to go. Walmart didn’t know it but they loaned their parking lot to tons of us while we walked to the nearby Chick.

Chick-Fil-A in Ft. Walton Beach on Beal Parkway was so crowded at lunch time I had no time to get in and get a Peach Shake. The inside was standing room only, the line for the drive thru was around the store, across the strip mall parking lot and out into the street.
The police put up cones to stop people from making left turns into the place from a side street because they were blocking traffic on a Beal. Traffic on Beal was backed up for over a mile...........
I’ll go after work and get my shake!........

Wait just a minute here. We’re the party of intolerance! Where are the hateful and angry expressions on people’s faces in these pictures? Where’s the venom? Why are all these intolerant people waiting patiently in line? Where is the abuse being hurled at law-abiding citizens?
Look, people, if this public display of kindness, patience and civility is the best our angry, bigoted, intolerant selves can manage, we’re really going to have to step up our game!

I went to the one south of the 101 off of 27th Ave today. The place was packed. Cars coming in from 3 directions, line clear out the door into the parking lot. It was probably a 2 to 3 hour wait to get in. It’s hot and humid. People were passing out water, smiling, laughing and proud that so many came out in support. I’ve got some pictures but never have learned how to post them. ;-(
