President Obama explained to a group of supporters in Ohio this afternoon that more government investments in infrastructure would help the economy grow again. Pointing out that if government continued to invest in roads and bridges, it would put more money in people’s pockets to spend. “That’s how we grow our economy.” Obama said, “If we’re investing in roads and bridges, putting some hard hats back to work, getting our steel workers back to work, they got some more money to spend, maybe they buy a new computer, maybe they decide to take a little vacation.”

What was the 750 million dollar stimulus for, again? Shovel ready jobs?
We tried it in the 30’s, but by the 40’s it was a war that got us out. Roads in the 50’s brought new home building areas, and a building boom. Trying the 30’s all over again? Why not add a 5 year Plan too?
What happened to the Trillion he spent already? Wait, didn’t Bill Clinton already rebuild our crumbling roads and bridges in the 1990’s? They only lasted 12 years?
Obama. Where does the money come from to pay the workers to build bridges and roads. FROM THE US TAXPAYERS YOU BRAINWASHED COMMUNIST. You create nothing that helps economic growth with this FLAWED LEFTIST THINKING. Why in the hell do you think your programs all tanked during your first term.
Roads and Bridges don’t make money, and therefor cannot grow the economy. Business, commerce and Industry create and grow the economy.
So if Sparky really wanted to grow the economy he would downsize goverment and quit spending all the investment money from Business on social service, non productive ventures.
But Sparky does not like America, Freedom, Business or anything that Sparky can’t spend on himself or his friends. So if Sparky wants to build bridges, it must because Sparky’s friends are willing to give Sparky a piece of the action for some Federal Contracts.
Cause that is all that Sparky has done for three years, trade our childrens future for his Mafia buddies today.
Who is going to pay for that, Obama?!

Uhhh, wasn’t that supposed to happen with the “shovel ready” jobs the stimulus was intended to provide? They need to play that clip of obama with the GE guy laughing about how the shovel ready jobs weren’t so shovel ready after all. It would make for a great ad.

At least he’s worked his way up to computers instead of doohickeys for the ailing furnace. Maybe there was a huge run on doohickeys and all the furnaces are working properly.
