A observant Jew will not eat pork, (or shrimp or rabbit or dogs or eel.. etc.) but they don't have the freak out over pigs that Muslims have.
In fact it is lawful for a Jew to have a pet pig just as it is lawful for a Jew to have a pet dog. It isn't usual but then pigs as pets are not common among non-Jews either

(I used to eat a lot of natural foods until I learned that most people people die of natural causes)
