Check out the growth that occurred in the Midland - Odessa area in the early 1980s. Petroleum engineers were living in tents because they couldn't build housing fast enough.

My theory on environmentalists is that they want to close off access to our natural resources in order to strangle the USA economy, hoping to collapse the country, and then the Leftists that take over will exploit those resources for themselves like we've never seen before.
