Nationally syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer has never been one to mince words when discussing the presidents ever-growing litany of foreign policy blunders. And, apparently, he has no intentions of stopping now. In fact, during a recent panel discussion on Special Report With Bret Baier, he seems to have taken his public criticisms of the president to a whole new level, essentially saying no one who is pro-Israel would re-elect Barack Obama unless theyve been in a coma for three and a half years. Via Fox News:
Friday Lightning Round: US relationship with Israel
Despite Krauthammers misgivings about the presidents leadership capabilities -- and unconscionable failures on the international stage -- a recent Gallup poll nevertheless shows Jewish Americans overwhelming support President Obama this election cycle.
While Republicans may look favorably on Romney's visit to Israel, another group with keen interest in U.S.-Israeli relations -- Jewish Americans -- solidly backs Obama in the election.
Gallup Daily tracking from June 1-July 26 finds Jewish registered voters favoring Obama over Romney by 68% to 25%. That is essentially the same as Gallup's prior update on Jewish voting preferences.
Although one goal of Romney's Israel visit could be to attract greater support among Jewish voters in the U.S., Jewish Americans have been a traditionally strong Democratic group, so they are unlikely to become much more supportive of Romney regardless of the outcome of the trip.
On Sunday, Mitt Romney will arrive in Israel where he is expected to receive a warm welcome from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Ehud Barak, and other Israeli leaders.
No one deserves to be suprised at Barack Hussein Obama's hostility toward Israel or the policies this evil man practices; e.g., midwifing the Iranian nuclear bomb.
I agree and I wont vote for Romney either...
p.s. I am not so sure I believe Gallup either.
We will be fortunate if the Jews don’t vote for him both in NY and Florida. They are as dense as Black voters when it comes to voting Democrat.
It never ceases to amaze me that folks like yourself are so willing to impose 4 more years of evil on my wife, children and grandchildren and this once grat nation. Stay home on election day and think what I’m thinking about you.
Good going pal
It has become pointless to point out to the 3rd party or stay at home voters the damage their tantrum will cause.
Good for you..now go commit suicide by yourself. I aint having no part in it. And BTW. When the shooting starts if Obama gets back in by your hand, and those like you. I expect you all to be right there alongside the rest of us.
I wont hold my breath and I doubt the rest of us will either.
Exactly!! Krauthammer intelligence is so over rated!
They are liberals and only care about themselves and certainly not the land given by God to Abraham and his descendants. They are Jewish for holiday purposes only.
A 40 year journey for an 11 day trip shows a hardened heart towards the things of God and that mindset is still prevalent. However, God always has a remnant and still does and those moved into the Promised Land and will, again.
Well, duh.
In my mind, Romney, aided by a GOP Congress, probably does more long term damage to America than Obama, opposed by a GOP Congress, can do in four more years.
That title works for me. More importantly, “No Pro-United States U. S. citizen” would either.
It's not his intelligence that's in question here,it's his appreciation of reality. It's logical for a guy like him (or any reasonable person) to assume that Americans would support a civilized,Western nation like Israel. His error is his inability to understand just how far down the toilet Western "progressives",including those in the US,have sunk.
And knowing full well what would happen, the Judenrat told European Jews that homes and farms had become available in the East and the following 1,000 Jews were to report to the train station for transport to their new homes.
I think that’s an astute observation. I’m glad to see others adopting that kind of logic. It goes beyond the RNC soundbites to make assessments based on what the reality would really be with Romney and a Republican controlled Congress.
The one kicker there is this. Unless the Republicans get a filibuster proof Congress and Senate, Obama can still rule by Executive Order. And nothing would discourage that dip-stick from ruling in that manner.
Under that same scenario, he could also refuse to sign any legislation whatsoever, if he so chose.
The Romeny/Congress(R) would be as troublesome as the Obama/Congress(R). That’s why some of us were screaming bloody murder earlier this year when leading Republicans were kissing Romney’s feet.
Good luck now fellow campers.
Come back to earth. If Obama wins, there will be no GOP congress.
The party that wins the presidency always gains seats in the house and the GOP is only holding on to a very small majority.
So yes, by not firing Obama you are effectively handing the country over to the enemy and there’s no silver lining about it. People will suffer, people will die and the country may never recover.
