Most of CNN’s regular viewers pre-Fox (i.e. before the late 90s) were actually right-leaning news junkies who preferred CNN as a news source because they were the least biased of the big 4 networks. But when Fox News came along CNN gradually lost this core audience to them.

Then in the late 2000s, when MSNBC decided to abandon any pretense of objectivity and all but declare itself the official Obama cheerleader network, the die hard libs switched to them and left CNN behind as well.

So who does that leave for CNN? Almost no one, apparently.

I’m not unsympathetic to wanting these guys to make a buck.

I listened to Rush for almost 20 years but quit a few years ago when his show became nothing but obama 24/7. And quite frankly, that's all Rush does is talk. If the nation is really, really in such dire straits, why doesn't he DO something

A few things:

1. There is no bigger threat to America than 0bama and his Communist agenda

2. I wish Rush would spend MORE time exposing the Communist pretender

3. He is doing something - sunlight is the best disinfectant. He is exposing evil. Folks like Rush and Levin are doing the job the media is supposed to do.

I think the timing, announcing now and staying until just after the election, implies that Jim is “term-limiting” himself and thus freeing himself up to go 100% Obamabot for the next five months.

Now that his job is over, no one can pressure him to show any kind of “fairness” to Romney.
