In yet another shocking development in the Penn State story, ousted president Graham Spanier will soon begin working with the federal government on projects related to national security, The Patriot-News of Harrisburg, Pa., first reported. In an email written to the paper, Spanier said: For the next several months, as I transition to my post-presidential plans, I will be working on a special project for the U.S. government relating (to) national security.

‘zackly.
Queers are like communists and other rats.
They are everywhere and they take care of their own.
He can take special care of the little boys at the airport.
Ya got me there Hon.
Yup:
That’s a link to the WaPo story.
I suggest we all start calling the WH, our reps, Janet Napolitano, etc. tomorrow to get an answer on this.
This man might need to have some job, perhaps as a greeter at Walmart, or a barrsita at Starbucks, but he sure as heck does not need to be paid with taxpayer dollars. Rather he should probably be IN JAIL.
Sheesh! The guy should be the bunk muffin of Jerry Sandusky.
Is this guy going to be working security for Wife Swapping (one of his areas of "scholarly" study)?
PA Ping!
If you want on/off the PA Ping List, please freepmail me. Thanks!
AMEN!
I wonder what he put on his job application under “reason for leaving last job? “
Pedophile enabler now double-dipping, with his State retirement and his federal Gubmint job.
Spanier was chancellor at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln when the Franklin scandal erupted.

Penn State Pedo Ring?
Spanier was the one with the dirtiest hands per the Freeh report and yet look at this. I wonder how far he had to bend over for that job???
He couldn’t even secure the shower room in rhythmic “slappy valley”.
Some people kept saying that Spanier will be indicted, and then look at this. It was the gay-friendly environment brought to PSU by Spanier not the football team that protected Sandusky. Spanier made sure that Sandusky's charity stayed on campus and had everything it needed -- including little boys.
How pathetic. The people of Happy Valley should be screaming bloody murder that this pervert is going anywhere but jail.
I have seen many posts that a whole lot of people did things very wrong and every one of them deserve to be punished so that something as bad as over a decade of child rape doesn't get covered up again.
Paterno wasn't singled out.
He just hasn't been given a pass, no matter how bad those who worshiped him want him to be given a pass. They insisted that as bad as incriminating as the evidence that came out in Sandusky’s trial was, somehow later information would exonerate him. Well, its later, and every piece of new information makes him look worse and worse.
Make no mistake. I want Spanier, Shultz, and Curley to face trial. Possibly the counsel at the time, and certainly the current president who gave Sandusky emeritus status outside what the universities bylaws called for when Sandusky was shit-canned.
And whoever else is uncovered as the cases go to court with the victims that are coming foreword now.
I also want the students who demolished the news van at the Paterno riots to face charges for that.
One more thing.
Football is just a game.
You mean "implied". It's been more than implied. Who are you kidding??? He's been vilified but ask anyone about Spanier and they say "Who???"
Paterno wasn't singled out.
Then why was the football program sanctioned by the NCAA and 10 years of his wins removed when Sandusky hadn't worked for Paterno since 1999. He was only on campus after that because of the sweetheart deal that Spanier gave him and The Second Mile.
Rather than gutting the football program, they should be gutting all the new age human sexuality programs that Spanier brought to PSU and cut those professors loose.
The report is full of factual errors and jumps to conclusions that are untrue and unwarranted, Spanier wrote to the Board of Trustees this week.
Earlier this week, Spanier told The Associated Press that he would not have hidden the abuse because he, too, was physically abused with harsh beatings at the hands of his father.
But of course President Spanier can't be sure of anything until he gets his emails back to refresh his memory.
