I recall being aghast at this early O-bot gaffe, then two weeks later he gave the Queen an ipod to only outdo himself. Please, please, please send this un-gentleman to the dustbin of history. Soon.

I recall this too. But as I recall it was something like a collection of his frickin speeches on a DVD....trouble is that the idiots that surround him they didn’t realize the difference between ITU Zone 1 and Zone 2 DVDs....IOW, the Queen couldn’t even watch the DVD unless she had a US player....what a freaking idiot.

Not only did Obama give the Queen an iPod but it was an iPod loaded with Obama speeches which is about as narcissistic as you can get. He also gave Gordon Brown (Prime Minister at the time) a DVD collection of classic American movies that could not be played on British DVD players (different DVD format).

The guy is an absolute clown and way out of his depth. Had Bush made the above faux paux, the media would never let him live it down.

Returning the Churchill bust is yet another un-classy move. Churchill is one of the few people in history who can be claimed to have singlehandedly changed the course of world history.

Here's an excerpt from one of his best speeches (when he assumed the office of prime minister in May of 1940 after France had fallen):

...We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. We have before us many, many long months of struggle and of suffering. You ask, what is our policy? I can say: It is to wage war, by sea, land and air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us; to wage war against a monstrous tyranny, never surpassed in the dark, lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy. You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word: It is victory, victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival...
