I know this has been commented on Drudge, Gateway Pundit and probably here but I just have to point out (because I find it very telling and funny) the second to the last line of this article. He eats his cheeseburger, but skips the pork. I wonder why?

Foeller said Obama listened sympathetically as he talked about the problems rural veterans have getting access to health care and was quick to knock down a rumor ... that members of the National Guard would get a pay cut.

Obama also talked about how he's worked to help veterans more easily apply their military training to certifications they need for civilian employment, whether as a welder or nurse.

So the first thing on these vets' minds are "Where's ours?". Pathetic. Don't get me wrong, those benefits are earned, but you'd think they'd be a little concerned about the stability and safety of the nation they served.

DEAN DILLEY:(speaking to high level campaign staffer) "Hey...I have two buddies I hang out with who are both Obama supporters, and are ex-military. If you let us know where he will be stopping for lunch, we can just hang out there until he walks in, and 'Voila!'...ready to go support from the military community!"

OBAMA STAFFER 1:"Dean, that is a great idea! We are going to hit the Gateway Breakfast House around 9:00 PM."

OBAMA STAFFER 2:"Ummmm...what if someone figures out we planned this in advance?"

They would HAVE to go to Oregon to find three vets who would lunch with Obama. Hey 35% support him and the Democrats found three good for them but that means nothing. It doesn't and won't close a 24 point gap.
