Anti Romney Republicans, there aren’t any.
It’s conservatives who don’t like Romney.

If I were a Democratic strategist, I’d be thinking about giving Goode a $100m war chest to slam Romney. The beauty of donating to Goode is that Democrats who have maxed out their individual contributions ($5K limit) to Obama can donate another $5K to Goode. It worked for Patrick Deval in MA, and it certainly could help Obama.

But in Virginia, the former populist Democrat turned Independent turned conservative Republican turned anti-immigrant Constitutional Party presidential nominee could be the nut in the coconut for the White House come November.

He sounds like a nut, all right.

It’s funny that some ‘conservatives’ objected to Perry, Pawlenty, etc., on the ground that they were Democrats once, yet accept Goode who changes party affiliation like changing underwear (and much more recent). I guess, as long as someone say something that they want to hear, he’s fine.

If we must have an enemy at the head of the government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures.
