Johannesburg - Horrific evidence has been heard in the Vereeniging Regional Court where three men pleaded guilty to several charges of murder, rape and robbery - before walking back their cells, laughing.

Beeld reported that the men’s lawyer told the court that they had broken into the home to steal possessions and get revenge on the way they had been treated by their employer, Geraldine Viana, 42.

The family’s gardener, Patrick Petrus Radebe, 24, their domestic’s son, Sipho Mbele, 21, and David Motaung, 20, broke into the house in Walkerville, assaulting and shooting dead Tony Viana, 53, and brutally raping and killing his wife, Geraldine.

They then tied up and gagged the crying Amaro Viana, 12, and pushed him into a bath of boiling hot water to drown him because he would be able to identify them.

It was not clear what had caused the boy’s death.

The family dog was killed by having his stomach cut open.

The men would be sentenced in September.

And, I guess I could google-up the story about the decades old mass murder of a town of blacks in Florida, or the over-hyped pickup truck chain dragging of a black man in Texas - but I won’t even though your cite was from 1974.

I don’t discount events like this haven’t happened, the racial divide climate Obama has perpetuated certainly has made it much easier. Similarly, the exact location where these atrocities occur can be a factor. I’m just a little more optimistic and probably reflecting on whether the instances in South Africa are much, much higher on a population basis than here in the US.

That said, I won’t sit here and tell you we don’t have a deep deep problem with race in this country and with an administration that fosters this divide every chance they get.

Not if you were armed. You might still die, but it would have to be from gunshot - not boiling water, and after you have lowered the neighborhood population by a few.

The vast majority of South Africans, black and white, support the reinstatement of the death penalty, but the liberal Constitutional Court has stated that it would be unconstitutional. The ruling ANC and liberal opposition DA are also opposed to the death penalty.

Men who kill in this way and then smile and laugh about the deeds in a court of law deserve death.

Barring the death penalty they should never see the light of day again. They should live in the darkest dankest dungeon bathing in their own filth.

These kind of crimes cry out for the kind of justice that only the death penalty can fulfill.

The surviving daughter will never have any peace knowing that these men walk the Earth. If these men are paroled in 10 years she will live in constant fear that these men intend the same for her that her mother received.

The 90 year old war veteran husband was beaten and his jaw broken. He was shot in the face numerous times with a BB gun and sent to the hospital in critical condition.

The 85 year old partially blind wife was RAPED and then BEATEN TO DEATH.

Can you just imagine the pain, the humiliation, the horror that dear old lady experienced being gang raped by that pack of feral animals?

A lady at work just came to the US from South Africa. She said it so bad there (J-Berg) that whenever she was in her car, she would have a loaded .38 on her lap. She said that car jackings were so common the car jackers would look in the window, see the gun, and just move on to an unarmed car.

Here are examples of 14 black on white murders in the USA in May, 2012 alone.Most of these murders would have been considered to be “hate crimes” if the races were reversed.
